During the visit, the technician spent very little time explaining the condition of my wiring or how much knob-and-tube wiring was actually present. I left with more questions than answers and didn't receive the detailed assessment I was expecting. Instead, the conversation quickly shifted toward recommending expensive electrical work without first providing a clear explanation of the inspection findings. Considering the upfront fee, I don't feel the assessment provided good value. I expected a thorough evaluation, a detailed explanation of the results, and enough information to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Their price also included a 3 year service plan. The install was scheduled 3 days after I accepted the quote, others were scheduling 2-3 weeks out. On the day of the installation, the 128 crew arrived right on time, calling ahead to let me know they were on the way. They showed up with a four man crew, 2 installers for the mini-split and 2 electricians. The work was pristine, the wiring was neat, the unit was placed on a pad and looks great! The crew (Paul, Nedim, Nick & Connor) was extremely professional and curtious. The work was completed by 3pm same day. I am 100% pleased with the work and will be using them going forward for all my HVAC needs.

I had to clean up most of the mess at the end of the days and I had to dispose of all debris, boxes, etc. Pricing was fair but based on my experience I would not use them again. It's unfortunate because Carmen seems great just too busy with other projects and not present. Communication was subpar. This was not a small project as we shelled out over 6k. Had it been a smaller project I may not be as critical.

I had an old house that changed hands from foreclosures to shady house flippers that did not do a great job. The house was even abandoned for a while and local kids would party their. The house was a business and then converted to a residence but not in a fully code compliant way. (many shortcuts were taken) I heard about his work from a friend and neighbor. Being an electronics hobbyist, and enthusiast I looked at the work Carmen did on a friends old house(total re-wire and breaker panel upgrade) and was impressed by his work, including how neat and symmetrical the work was. This is in addition to the many hours of watching this type of work done on YouTube. I can comparatively see his work was of very high quality and technical skill. I tried doing some of the work myself such as fixing lights and outlets that were not wired(cross wired) correctly by the previous house history. However when I hit a wall in terms of my current skill level I called Carmen. Given my nature I would not call someone unless I really felt they were great based on my research. I am glad I did because a family member was concerned that I would try and do the advanced work myself without being at the requisite skill level. The work done included the breaker panel upgrade from 100 amps to 200Amps, the meter box was upgraded, and a rotted wooden masthead. I felt the price was a good value especially given the large scope, difficulty of working with a house not consistently or properly maintained over the years. I had some non-standard requests which Carmens team was happy to help with. They helped with these request with a politeness and enthusiasm not seen as much today. I also liked how they used very high quality and thick cables. They used wires that were of a higher thickness than the bare minimum required.
