Purchased a New England Colonial built in 1901, upon the home inspection it was discovered the home had Knob and Tube wiring. Did some research and discovered the danger of keeping this wiring, Reached out to Trimarchi Electrical for an estimate to replace the entire electrical system. Mike Came out on a Saturday took a look at the project, provided an estimate. Of course the normal thought when your doing these types of projects is "we found this and the price is going to be higher" well not with Trimarchi each day Mike would walk me through the progress and explain what was going to take place the following day. I was able to leave him and his team in my home alone with all my belongings without any worries that something would go missing. He went above and beyond with coming up with ideas when adding new lighting in the kitchen, the motion sensor lights in the basements etc. Mike also informed me that the project was going to be less since him and his team were able to access the wiring easier and make minimal cuts in the walls. This was the first time I've needed an electrician at the house we recently moved into. I chose Trimarchi based on the great online reviews, and I'm glad I did. I called on a Friday afternoon to schedule service for a circuit to my clothes dryer that was not working, and though it wasn't an emergency, Jessica was able to schedule a service call for the following Monday. Mike and Donte showed up on Monday (even a little early) and I explained the problem. Mike quoted me a very reasonable price to troubleshoot and fix the problem. They quickly found that a connection from my standby generator setup had killed the dryer circuit, and they had my dryer up and running shortly afterwards. Our project was the removal and re-wiring of existing knob & tube in our 100 year old, three story home (20+ stairs to the front door). Lots of surprises. Michael, Matt and crew never complained and embraced the challenges. Michael was on time for our initial walkthrough and prompt with an estimate. Super professional and responsive. Highest quality I've ever had from a contractor. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and put all of my questions and concerns at ease. My Microwave oven stopped working and we thought it was the result of a blown fuse and/or a shorted wire. Trimarchi provided a reasonable estimate to run a new wire from my fuse box to my microwave outlet. We scheduled the work and when the guys showed up they quickly realized the shorted wire was located within the first inch or two of where the wire went into the fuse. It ended up being a much easier fix than estimated and the cost of the repair was 20% of the original estimate. They were very professional, easy to work with and I highly recommend them. Michael and his team were great. We had them install a new circuit in our kitchen to power a garbage disposal. They were very easy to work with and flexible with scheduling. On the day of installation, they were efficient and were able to troubleshoot some challenges with the amount of space in our ceiling that prevented easily running new wires from the circuit breaker.
