For something that costs this much, I prefer to receive the rail pass in person instead of ordering it online. The travel agents were very cordial. I didn't have my passport with me during my first visit, so I was handed a form to fill out on my return. Once I returned with my passport and filled out form, they scanned my passport and verified the information on the form and provided a voucher for the Japan Rail Pass (it has to be exchanged for a pass in Japan). The travel agent provided addresses of various locations where the vouchers can be exchanged and also provided information about which lines the pass is not valid on. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The travel agents were friendly and efficient.

They just want your commission and then they try and attack you for complaining. Danny called me personally to be upset he was being held accountable for not fixing the vacation and said he just books the tickets. She did not send us anything to show that we have paid the deposit. She told us that we don't have to call her with our credit card to pay the deposit she will keep the card in file. July 22 came and nothing came out from our account. I called her on July 25 to find out what was going on. She gave me some lame excuses and she actually took the balance out. She did not send us an invoice nor the Booking number for 6 weeks. Two weeks before our cruise we had not heard from her. We tried calling her and leaving messages but she was not responding. We called the cruise line to find out if they had our booking. They asked us for our booking number and we told them the agent had not given it to us. They could not find our names in their system and that didn't look good. We called the cruise line the following day and pleaded with them to go through their bookings to see if they can help us. Fortunately someone was patient enough to go through their records and they found us. They were very helpful and they set us up and gave us all the information we needed. Bobbi-Jo was the worst and she never took responsibility nor made an apology. We will never book another trip with her or her company again.

I contacted the airline directly and they claimed it was false and no one contacted them. And they even had a policy on their website- Air Canada claiming due to the holidays they will have flexible policies changing flights. We informed our frustration early that we would like to adjust the 18 hour layover and unnecessary flight pattern but we weren't given any options at all because ASAP tickets were only worried about their bottom line and bought simply an economy ticket that was not flexible. I'm addition our travel agent did a PR job following up and actually doing their duties. There was one travel agent but the name of Kehller who was kind professional and did his best to help but he didn't book or ticket therefore he was limited in what he could provide. If you work with an agent at ASAP tickets I suggest working with Kehller.

Carol said of course she will assure us of those seats especially that my wife has medical condition but to our amazement when we checked-in, we found out that we do not have any seating reservation, luckily the PAL representative was able to get us the 3 consecutive aisle seats or else we would all be separated and no one will be able to attend to my wife who has difficulty in moving. When we reached Manila we emailed ASAP to correct our seating on our flight back, but there was no response from them, so what I did is to call PAL to confirm our seating reservation and to our surprise we were put on different seats far from each other, that I have to pay $80 to get seats that were together. We will never ever get our air tickets from ASAP Travel and Tours, and one more issue is that the owner Carol David Bella is a pain to deal with she talks unreasonably too fast and rude pretending to be smart but called us back because she did not get our postal code number and cannot mail our tickets, duh?

He listened to my request, asked some questions, took my contact info and handed me a business card since I had to get back to work.
