It's a dry rub but you can add hot or reg bbq sauce. I preferred the flavor of the regular. The hot was not very hot but I liked the regular flavor better. My steak Ol' Skool burrito was solid, though I made the mistake of going with the mild sauce. It needed more heat to really bring it together.
