They do a nice massage. however today I went in intending on a foot and body massage; $100.00. they told me it was $140, they expected a $40.00 tip before we ever got started. Sorry, you don't demand a tip, especially when you mess up the massage. I came straight from the gym as I overdid it today. I paid for a one-hour massage. The back was fine, but too long. When I finally turned over, the hour was gone, and my masseuse, in Chinese, only then asked her co-worker how long my massage was. The co-worker, also in Chinese, said one hour. So, my masseuse spent four minutes giving my thighs a perfunctory few strokes, pressed on my feet a few times, then wiped down my non-existent lotion. No pecs, no biceps, inadequate legs. And I was expecting temple and forehead as well, but no. Since the back was good, I cut my normal tip in half, but my masseuse got angry and said it wasn't enough. If you looking for the spa like treatment with meditation music and cucumber eye covers, this isn't the place for you. In california you can find $20 chinese massage parlors that has everyone in one big room getting a back massage. It's hard to find that here in Colorado for a decent price that isn't a "happy ending" type of shop. Like i said this isn't for everyone but for an hour at $40, you can't beat that. I had the full body massage and had a private room. Alina i believe was her name, really worked on my back which is what i needed. I didn't have an appointment but i do recommend making one but i only waited about 10 minutes until they called me back on a monday afternoon. My only complaint is i felt "exposed" like no towel on my bottom but since i had my own room it wasn't a big deal to me because my neck feels so much better. Just Relax was recommended to m by my nail tech when we got on the subject of massages. I'm am terrible on my body daily from my job to my daily yoga and strength training. So, when I want a good massage, I really mean I want pain! Yes, pain. My nail tech said the ladies at Just Relax were the therapists I needed to see. Onto the facts...I walked in without an appointment at 3pm on a Saturday and was immediately ushered into a quiet, dim lit room with your standard massage table and a chair and side table for undressing. My therapist, Coco arrived around 5 min and turned on a CD of authentic Chinese music and began to work her magic. She asked if I wanted harder pressure to which I responded, "hurt me". She didn't actually hurt me but she had very long, deep strides up and down my overworked muscles. I opted for just an hour not knowing what to expect. 5 Stars to Just Relax for extraordinary service, a clean facility and a most reasonable price. And 5 more stars for Jihon (Beth), who has been my massage therapist at JR3 for 4 years. I've had chronic back and neck issues all my life and found Chiropractic and Massage therapy is the best and most affordable weekly treatment. I could not afford weekly massage if Just Relax charged what other therapists charge. Beth is pleasant, strong and gifted, ... well worth the price she charges. I never have to tell her what my problem areas are, she finds them and works them out every time. Regarding review comments on temporary 5,10, even 15 second interruptions for a phone call or walk-in. It's a cultural thing, that's what they do. It's a legitimate Asian Massage Spa. You can't have it both ways. A therapist charging you $40 per hour cannot afford a receptionist. And a spa with all the bells and whistles cannot offer a massage for under $70 per hour, of course, some charge $120. And frankly, before finding Just Relax, the fancy American spas I tried in Colorado Springs , always seem to have interns or newly "trained" therapists that give "back rubs" not serious deep tissue massage. It's a mindset, so set your expectations and make your choices. I for one, just marvel at the work ethic Beth has and so might you. And, I can lose a minute or two of massage to get twice the massage and save $30 an hour plus the extra $6 in the tip difference. I wanted this to be a good massage, but unfortunately it was not. I got the full body hour massage for $40. Before I stripped down to my panties, My masseuse stated I must tip $10 minimum for the massage. The thin table sheet was slightly damp, as if it had been pulled out of the dryer too soon. The upbeat Chinese music made it difficult for me to relax. I actually asked her to turn her music off during the massage so I could just listen to something better from my phone. She was chewing gum and flapping her jaw, which again was annoying. She also must have had a cold because she coughed and sneezed several times. She used a warm wet cloth to wipe the wet oil off my body, which became very cold after a few seconds and left me cold on the table, I had to request extra towels, which smelled like bleach. She left the room several times during the message to answer the front door, leaving my room door wide open, very vulnerable. She also chatted thru the thin walls with a co-worker In Chinese. Also, at no point during the reflexology did she touch my toes or heal, which is odd. Her movements were swift not smooth. Lastly, she scowled at me after I tipped her $10, apparently not enough in her eyes. But if this is the type of Chinese massage you're looking for, go for it! read more

For the record they did NOT offer a Happy Endings. It is definitely worth more than you pay. It is not the most high end equipment but it does the job and the staff, even if they don't speak great english knew when to apply firm pressure and when not to, One note, if you prefer to be nude during your massage, hopefully your not bashful, the towel they use to cover you is not oversized. I have been receiving reflexology for years...and am a registered massage therapist. I have never experienced such blatant disregard for a client's discomfort. I did not have the female that was praised by other patrons, I had a male. There was absolutely no communication- I don't think he speaks English. I combined the reflexology with table massage (great deal right?) not so much. I actually quit before my time was up because I was in so much pain. He continually pushed into my sacrum (and the "dimples") above the glutes. He put way to much pressure on my spine... NOT supposed to massage the spine! There was no flow, just constant irritation of sites on back, feet, and lower legs. Today is Monday & I am having shooting pains in my lower back. I would highly suggest if you are looking for a good massage or even a mediocre massage- DON'T go here. One more thing I will add, I did not notice until all was said and done- Petroleum jelly??? It is a great advantage that you can just walk in and be taken care of, instead of having to make an appt. and be there at an exact time etc. It is really worth the $29 (plus tip!!:)) The day I went neither the man or woman seemed to speak English, but it didn't matter at all. I am thinking I will be treating myself a couple times a month and get my freebie in just a few months! I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. Very unprofessional business. When I got there they put me in a room I guess closest to their kitchen and all I could smell is the food they were cooking. My door wouldn't close so I had to put my shoes against it to hold it sorta closed to get undressed. I took my clothes completely off and got underneath the towels and in walks a male! I talked to a female on the phone and a female brought me to my room. No music was played. All I heard were the voices coming from the kitchen. I was very uncomfortable. The massage was very painful. I have had massages in the past and they were no where near this painful. I can honestly say that I do not think that they are even certified. He kept massaging my lower back like constantly like so often that it hurt so badly. Today I am so sore. I can't even lay on my back so I guess I'm sleeping on my side tonight. read more

I really liked this place when they first opened; decent massage for a decent price. Over time my opinion has changed drastically. I have found that when I visit the masseuse talks on the phone, keeps interrupting my massage to handle people coming thru the door and it seems they yell at each other. Cannot understand their language but the harsh tones used make it an unpleasant atmosphere. My most recent and last visit on 5 August 2012 was the icing on the cake. DON'T Ever try this place, it was such a painful massage I've ever had. I came there with my husband and had 2 foot massage for 60min. A couple did for us and they talked nonstop in Chinese which made us could not relax. And the lady did for me, i think she just know to rub my feet up from ankle to the knee without any technique of massage and pressing. Oh yah, she did. She press on my BONE extremely hard which I still feel so painful after the whole day. But when she rub the muscle which I really need to be massage, she did it with no strength at all. When I tuned upnside down to have a back massage, it even worse. She used her elbow and her whole body press on the Bone on my back Again! They do not speak English much, so when I told her "it hurts", she said "ok" and then keep pressing on my bone even harder. Cannot believe I can still survive after that.
