It was my first time coming in, and i thought i couldnt be seen but when i called in Sidney got me scheduled for the same day "AMAZING SERVICE"! She reassured me of how everything would go and even went over some of the options the Dr. might have for me! I had a dent in my cheek from an acne scar that had started to get worse due to me personally doing everything possible to make it worse thinking im a dermatologist, but i explained that to her when i called in and she scheduled me right away! The visit went just as well! Gabby is also AMAZING and well informed and made me feel comfortable about the procedure before the Dr. came in. She is very friendly and made the visit much easier! Dr. Hickman is beyond professional and efficient! When i tell you i had zero pain during this procedure i am not lying.. i would not even give it a 1 on the pain scale. ( the procedure i had done was filler to help fill the scar and lift the skin and overtime potentially help collagen start building back in the area) I am no longer ugly and back to normal. The receptionist and assistant were both abrasive and unwelcoming, but the dermatologist herself was by far the worst part of the experience. (Dr. Martha Hickmann) During the exam, she SCRATCHED my mother's irritated skin with her bare fingernails while examining the area. Not only was this incredibly uncomfortable, but it also felt completely unsanitary and unprofessional. There was no warning, no gentleness, and no respect for basic bedside manner. Her overall attitude throughout the appointment was shockingly condescending. Every question we asked was met with snarky, dismissive responses as if we were stupid for asking normal medical questions. When my mother asked about potential scarring from a procedure, the doctor sarcastically replied, "Every surgical procedure causes a scar," in a tone that was clearly meant to belittle rather than educate. Instead of offering reassurance or a thoughtful explanation, she acted irritated that she even had to answer. The entire appointment felt rushed and careless. Rather than explaining anything clearly or showing confidence and expertise, she seemed to just throw random possibilities around without much insight or certainty. It genuinely felt like guessing rather than informed medical care. What made the experience even worse was how physically invasive and disrespectful she was. She repeatedly put her hands on people without asking, handled irritated skin aggressively, and showed absolutely no awareness of patient comfort whatsoever. There is a massive difference between being direct and being rude, and this office crossed that line repeatedly. We left feeling uncomfortable, dismissed, and honestly upset by how unnecessarily demeaning the entire interaction was. I would absolutely never recommend this dermatologist or this office to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, or respectful care. The entire experience was awful from start to finish.

They scheduled me with one person then when I got there gave me a young girl by a completely different name and I told them when I called that I didn't want a stylist that was FRESH out of beauty school. I gave her a picture and told her EXACTLY what I wanted. She BUTCHERED my hair & I will NEVER go back. It wasn't worth it. The girl kept looking confused, she didn't know how to texturize & she had no idea what she was doing. Her name was Rez (however you spell it) and that's who I told them I didn't want. They knew she wasn't experienced enough for what I asked and the manager knew it but she went against my wishes COMPLETELY. I hated my hair and I actually showed her how to tezturize my hair. She didn't know how to use the texturizing shears. I did tip her bc I know she was scared and probably 2nd guessing herself but they shouldn't be giving clients to people who have no idea what they're doing. My looks are important to me and I haven't left the house in days. I feel like an idiot. Horrible experience and felt judged the whole time. Super snooty & boogie. I had Botox and cheek filler performed at the Beavercreek, Ohio location. The Botox on my forehead was uneven leaving one eye higher then the other eye and I still had significant wrinkling over one eye. The filler I asked for on my cheeks has been a nightmare. When the nurse was injecting me she was putting the filler under my eyes when I had told her to place it on the flat areas of my cheeks. I have previously had over the past 2 years been seeing a facial plastic surgeon for my injections but he was unavailable over the holidays. I told her I had never had fillers placed under my eyes yet she continued. The results were horrific! The skin under my eyes had turned white ...known as blanching from improper injecting. This also left large puffy bags under my eyes that I never had before. When the nurse was finished I was still left with the same issues I came in with and a bill of $989.00. When I called the next day I was told I needed to wait at least 2 weeks for a consultation. In the meantime I saw my plastic surgeon and he was quite concerned and shocked with the uneven, unnatural, and unnecessary placement of the filler under my eyes leaving what is called FESTOONS (large bags). When I went for my follow up at Face Forward I came to find out the nurse who did my injections was no longer there... I wondered why?? The staff clearly could see my concerns and offered to dissolve the filler they had put in the wrong area (under my eyes) and wanted to charge me and additional $650.00 to put the filler in the proper place. so in essence they wanted to dissolve their mistake and the filler I had paid $650.00 for. They should have put it in the correct place to begin with. They don't listen and place the fillers where they want to. What a terrible , unprofessional lack of follow through patient care. Face Forward did not stand by their work they are more concerned about making money at the expense of there clients. I also want to note that I returned immediately after my follow up appointment when I realized I had forgotten my car keys to find the entire staff laughing.,So disrespectful. Save your money and a lot of headaches ..stay away from Face Forward.
