They do a good job washing the cars but the wait can be very long at times. The prices have steadily increased over the last year and on my last visit I had to ask one of the owners to have my car wiped down properly. I come here for a hand wash every couple months, and each time my experience is top-notch! The staff is friendly, and their process is very efficient. For the basic exterior wash and dry you don't even have to leave your car! Plus, the base wash is very reasonably priced, since it also comes with a wax and tire dressing. Sometimes the wait can be fairly long since they take their time with each vehicle (which is a good thing). Just be prepared to sit in the line for a bit by bringing a book or good music. For reference: last time I came on a Saturday 5 minutes before opening (two cars ahead of me), and it took about 40 minutes to go through the wash/dry/wax. This is worth the wait for how well my car turns out afterwards! I came to this car wash by referral of another person. This is my first time here. I can tell you, they are fast and good! They have options from just washing outside, or washing and vacuuming, or full detail. There are six men working on my car. I'm getting a full detail in one hour. I am very pleased. They are attached to a Chevron gas station, on the corner of Steck and Burnett. Their prices are very reasonable. Cars are $25 and SUVs are $30 for a wash. Do you pay for those automated drive thru car washes at gas stations or grocery store parking lots? If so, STOP wasting your money on a half-done wash, and support an Austin local business instead! Just Washed hours are 10am - 6pm. Prices for an exterior wash as of Jan 2023 are $20 for cars and $25 for SUVs. For an additional $20 they vacuumed, wiped down and cleaned the full interior (making it $40 total for my sedan). They also take all forms of payment, including Apple Pay, Google pay, etc.! Yes, you may have a wait, especially if you go during peak hours. But they pay CLOSE attention to detail and hand wash every last mark off your car. It's worth the extra wait! You can sit in your car while they are washing, so put on a good playlist or bring something to keep yourself occupied. After it's washed, they will have you pull forward so they can clean the rims/tires, apply a light wax, wipe all exterior windows, and dry the car. There is an outdoor waiting area with a picnic table and tarp covering. Since I opted for the extra $20 interior cleaning, I waited at the picnic table while they cleaned the inside of my car. The line starts in the back of the Chevron, you'll probably see a line of cars. Just hop in line! I am so happy I found this spot. I will only use Just Washed car wash going forward. read more

Job was done well. Asked for a simple wash for my truck and they were able to remove most of the bug guts. Some guts were left on the windshield. Given my standard truck size, was expecting the truck pricing, when it came time to pay, got charged 40 which was more than the advertised truck price. My truck was not muddy or "excessively dirty". I went today and was unfortunately 4 cars back, so my wait is 1.5 hours total which was much longer than I anticipated when I pulled up. It would be good for the owners to let people in line know the general wait time because I was nearly late for my dinner. You can't rush quality though. My car was spotless. When you ask somebody to clean your car inside and out, there's a little bit of risk and vulnerability letting people feel dive into the car. One of the first things the team did was bring me over a ring that was in a crevice in the car. When they finished vacuuming, they went through the vacuum contents and made sure they didn't pick up anything of value. I have a black truck and after being spayed will have little water streaks that leak out through the handles and the RAM box. And they went back over just to ensure that they got rid of those. I came across the page for this business on Facebook and had to give it a shot being Black-owned. Pulling into the gas station, I was greeted by a line of dirty cars and men ready to work. I waited for about 45 mins to an hour before my car was at the bay, which wasn't a problem because the time moved really fast. There are two option for SUV: $35 & $65 (unless inflation has hit them too!!!) I opted for the $65 to have all of my interior detailed to the T. Needless to say, you will not be disappointed with paying this for a hand wash. You will see several nice fancy cars that drive out all the way from West Austin to just get the level of detail and care received here. After getting my car washed, I inspected it and was pleased with the end result and tipped. I've been to another station over on Lamar by another Shell and it just doesn't hit like this one. 10/10 attention to detail, professionalism, and experience. It had dust and grime all over the interior and exterior. Not to mention dog hair. They washed and waxed the outside, which included tires and wheels. I'm in the area of Austin camping and seriously needed my F250 washed, inside and out. I am particular about having it hand washed as opposed to machines. A friend of mine recommended this place which had a lot of great reviews, unlike others in the area. I drove over 30 minutes to get there and I must say it was worth the drive and wait. The two guys who own it were on site and working hard. They are very meticulous with their work and my truck has not been this clean since I bought it new. Both are very friendly too. Shouldn't be telling y'all this, since "#Just Washed" is too popular already. But these guys did such a great job cleaning my SUV, I want to give 'em TEN stars! It (the car) has been in drive-through washes two or three times in 2 or 3 years, but not lately. It was REALLY dirty! And the inside had not been cleaned since early 2019, I know for sure. It has a cargo area that was full of styrofoam bits, Christmas tree needles, who-knows-what. The guys cleaned and vacuumed it out, and put the seat backs up and cleaned some more. Oh, and the wheels! I sometimes -uhm- park up against the curb. One wheel was not just scraped. It was very black. When this one guy was done, that wheel was so shiny it looked like new. Only scraped. Oh, all the other wheels were clean, too, as well as the tires! When you go to #Just Washed, you see a drive-thru tunnel. But there are no machines brushing and buffeting cars inside. People are in there with soap and water and their human hands. And when your car is out, it's already cleaner than usual drive-throughs. But it is only just started getting even cleaner. Alright, the process takes longer than regular car washes. And costs more. I did expect that. And was surprised it wasn't more expensive. read more
