I don't throw out 5 stars Willy billy but Francine really deserves it. she is the BEST! It was my first time waxing so I was sort of scared but she made me feel right at home! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. She works super fast that way you won't feel as much pain. She definitely knows what she is doing. PLUS SHE IS SO FUNNY TOO! It was alright, it was my first time so the place was a bit intimidating for me, it is very dark with red and pink hues and there's lingerie everywhere I guess I wasn't expecting that type of environment. The waxer was a bit awkward, again it was my first time doing this so I did not feel 100% comfortable. It was also not very clean, she had me undress and lay down on a bed with sheets that don't look like they switch out between clients and cover myself with some old used robe that smelled like armpits. I'm glad I didn't get any type of infections. The results weren't bad I was content after a few days that the redness went away but either way I wouldn't return it just doesn't seem professional to me. read more

I spent all morning calling salons that offered their services at ridiculously high prices, and I was beginning to get discouraged. Francine is the BEST! I live in New York but I have been back in the Valley since April because of COVID. After almost 3 months of not having gotten a wax I decided to book a wax with Francine. I was happy to learn that she works out of a small office and it's just her. She made me feel so comfortable as soon as I walked in the door and is careful to take extra precautions during these times(wearing a mask, etc). I read wonderful reviews about this business and was excited to try it out. My call is answered and Francine is able to get me an appointment within the next few days, perfect for my schedule. Great, right? At least, I was excited. Less than twenty minutes later, I receive a call back. She cancelled my appointment because she "won't be accepting new clients this year" and so I "could try calling back in December." So unprofessional, not to mention rude. First time ever getting waxed. Francine made me feel very comfortable. She tried her very best to keep my mind off the waxing, which helped. As expected there was some pain, but didn't last but a few seconds. Francine was very considerate and explained some areas I wanted done skin would be to sensitive, so trimming was in order.
