Dr. Son was very understanding and helped me better understand what was going on with my teeth! Obviously i didn't go to school to read dental xrays so it's always been confusing when drs just talk about the xrays and not actually SHOW me what's going on. He understood my anxiety about surgery and was very helpful letting me know they have oral sedation to alleviate my stress. Waited 2 weeks for an appt here and was very clear when it was made. Said I already had a dentist, and all I needed from them was an impression and retainer ordered. They said this was not an issue. Arrived for my appt to a mountain of paperwork. Ridiculous, but completed. Waited until I was called. I was taken to get x-rays. I reiterated that I was only there for them to take an impression of my teeth and order a retainer. Was told the x-rays were required. Got up and walked out. They do not in any way need to have a full set of x-rays to take an impression or order a retainer. Just blatant insurance abuse, if not fraud. If I allowed them to do them, and charge my insurance company, then that service would not be available for my actual dentist when it was time. I will order them from an online provider.
