I want rave about this Salon. I've lived out of town and came to here one time for a wedding and I loved it then. 7 months ago I moved back to Memphis and immediately returned here. I'm super picky about who does my hair and had been going to the "it" stylist in Miami for a decade before coming home to Memphis. Anyways I wasn't picky who I went to and got Matched with Margaret. She is sooo on point and knew what to do without me giving that much instruction. I have really long thick hair which can be a pain for stylists to work with, yet she tackles it with ease. The other thing I love is that she's so uplifting. I feel so happy when I see her and get excited when I get to go to her. I also was on a reality show and had her touch me up and get me "stage ready" and honestly my hair was on point the whole time. read more

I love, love, LOVE getting my mani-pedis from Lisa at JUVE Salon. First the atmosphere is wonderful in their upstairs nail salon. Somedays we're all alone and it's quiet and relaxing. Other days there might be several customers there and it's fun to talk and get to know new people. And Lisa does a great job and knows exactly how I like my manicures and pedicures. She's turned into a great friend through this year. I am so glad I found her and don't know what I'd do without her. read more

I hardly ever leave reviews but this place was just what I needed to find. I'm a Memphis native and have yet to find my "places" for hair/facials etc. I've been going to goulds for years but I walked into Juve for a facial (after calling them the same day and the esthetician answered the phone!) She got me in within the hour and that was just the beginning of the experience. I walk in and she takes me upstairs and wants to learn about me, what's going on in my life and what I want today as far as the facial. I told her I had just experienced a death in the family and I needed to relax! That's exactly what happened. I saw Madeline and I can say she was so kind and patient and it was one of the best facials I've had! I enjoyed it so much that she scheduled me an appointment to get my hair done the very next day!! I come in the next day and I got scheduled with Audrey, and she was so personable and kind as well. She and I had a great conversation the whole time and she ensured I was comfortable! I tried Juve salon at the recommendation of a fiend of a friend when I got tired of my old salon. I love the atmosphere and the stylists! I got a long bob done by Stephanie, and she did a terrific job! My hair is notoriously difficult to style as it's so thick. She was amazing and great at conversation too! The hair dresser, Margaret, was trying to pressure me in to getting a full foil. I did not feel comfortable with her doing that service after discussing what I wanted because she couldn't grasp what I was wanting to achieve. She told me I still had to pay her for her time, regardless. Which I understood completely. So, I chose to do just a haircut and blow dry. During the cut, while my hair was soaking wet, she walked away for 5 min to do something else leaving my wet hair covering my face completely. Once she returns she was so rough with my head it makes the chair tilt to the side. She never spoke one word to me the entire time. Never asked if I liked it or what I wanted style wise. Upon backing out of the parking lot, she ran out to my car and demanded I roll the window down. She said, "you know, you should never judge a book by the cover." I was so confused and said, "wait what?" She then stormed off into the building. This was the MOST unprofessional experience I have EVER dealt with in any customer service industry. Heed my warning and steer clear of this place. I'm so happy I went with my gut and did not have her do the full foil. AWFUL customer service. Truly deplorable. read more

Genuinely the worst customer service at the front desk I have ever received from a salon (and this happens each interaction, not just a one-off). When calling to schedule an appointment the staff has an attitude as if I'm inconveniencing them about doing their job. I just called to make an appointment and the surly, unhappy phone answerer was judgmental for my not knowing my salon specialist's daily schedule (does she work on weekends was my question). When I booked an appointment she rudely accused me of not showing up and told me about their cancellation policy. Truly awful customer service and the haircut is not worth dealing with someone so miserable. Don't bother -- there are easier salons to deal with. read more

Sorry guys -- when I had my hair cut here, my stylist made approximately one half-baked attempt at conversation (but since I don't watch basketball, that died on the vine), made no attempt to direct me as to where to put my coat and purse (for real, lady...where can I put my stuff?), and didn't even do the shampoo herself (since I wasn't getting color, what was she doing instead?). The cut was fine, but overpriced at $50 plus tip for both her and the shampoo lady (who was super awesome and chatty...nice change!). I also did not feel at all welcomed or put at ease by the receptionist, which to my mind is super important at this price point. I mean, it's not just about the cut, it's about the whole experience, and my experience was not good. If I walk into your salon and you make me feel like I'm a loser who doesn't belong there, I'm never coming back. read more

To give you an idea about my hair I had dyed it red several months ago and used a color remover. Sadly it kept turning orange and I had the dreaded grow out line. After asking around I got referred to Abbie who was absolutely wonderful! She took her time and when I walked out of there my hair looked amazing. I had a very natural looking balayage which is exactly what I wanted. When you're getting married in three months I'll admit I was a little scared, but I highly recommend her if you're looking to try something different for summer time. read more

I LOVE my stylist, but I can't stand this salon. The receptionist is awful! Every interaction I have is not a friendly one. It's literally their job to book appointments, reschedule, etc and they always act like you've put them out of their way! It's unfortunate that they're the first impression of the salon and the last thing you interact with before you leave. read more

I have been going to see Brittany for awhile now and I adore her! She always does a fabulous job on my hair. I trust her completely with my hair and that is a lot for me to do. She always know how to color my hair perfectly and helps me get creative with my coloring. The very first thing that I noticed as I entered the salon was the awful musty smell. I was quite surprised that a candle was not burning to help with that. It was odd walking into a Beauty salon that was not at all pleasant smelling. I took my chance on a stylist I had never seen before but recommended to me. Risky I know! Unfortunately my experience at this salon was not at all good and after a long appointment, my hair color was not at all what I had expected even after spending 20 minutes prior discussing what I wanted, including photos. This visit was a HUGE waste of $140 and I regret not mentioning my disappointment to the owner. It appears many woman do enjoy this salon but I have personally experienced so many other stylists who could have gotten it right. Big disappointment for me. Two stars is being generous.
