Nick changed the first 2 appointments we had with him, thus wasting our time since we had set aside time to meet with him. Finally, the third time he set an appointment with us, he was over an hour late, again most disrespectful even though we were trying to give him one last opportunity to bid our job. After spending over an hour with him, he promised to have a quote for us by the following Tuesday (this last meeting was on a Thursday). When we received nothing by the following Thursday, 2 days after we expected his quote, I left a message to please let us know status. He did not return our call. I left him 2 subsequent messages over 2 weeks, asking what is going on, but he did not bother to respond. In the last message, I asked him that if he no longer wants to bid the job, he could at least simply have the decency and professional courtesy to let us know. That was almost a week ago. AND STILL HE HAS NEVER CONTACTED US AFTER WASTING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME! This is a rather stark indication of the true character, or lack thereof, of this individual and what you can expect if you engage him. We strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Lord knows what may have occurred if we had given a deposit and hired someone such as this who demonstrates such an incredible lack of respect for others! We are in Grants Pass, NOT NEVADA. My husband and I hired Steve last October to knock out the back wall of our master bedroom and…read moreinstall tall custom-made French doors as well as Spanish tile floors with in-floor radiant heat in the master bathroom and bedroom. One of the things Steve promised was to keep us regularly statused with clear communication. THAT was a false promise on his part. He seldom communicated clearly and did not keep us statused. As the project continued over the next 7 months to the present day, it became apparent that Steve is not planful and does not understand project management. The first -- and best -- thing that happened was he hired Joe McKuen (arguably the best tile guy in the Rogue Valley) to install the radiant heat and Spanish tiles that we had already purchased. Joe did a flawless job in the first two weeks. Very impressive. Understandably, the custom-made French doors and glass panels took overlong to be fabricated due to supply chain and Covid issues. When we asked, we got an update from Steve but he certainly didn't keep us in the loop. Finally, in the middle of winter Steve said he was going to take out the back wall and install the French doors and sliding screens. That occurred over about a week or so in late February. He, his father (a very experienced framer), and the owner of the door fabrication company with two of his employees finally installed the doors EXCEPT for the screen doors. It turned out Steve had never placed the order for the screened doors. According to Steve, the price of the screened doors had doubled in the intervening months. He decided he wanted to find a different vendor although I said we'd pick up the cost difference. We're still waiting for the screened doors and for the paint stains to be power-washed off the brick patio. Steve hasn't returned our calls in over a month. We have no idea if he finally placed an order for screened doors -- or if he intends to finish the job. It appears that after he got his last check from us, he just walked off the job and doesn't intend to complete it. Steve projected that this job would be completed by late December at the latest. It is almost the beginning of May and has not been completed so far. Based on this behavior on his part, we do NOT recommend him or the company he owns, Rivercross Construction.

We are very pleased with our decision to hire RiverCross Construction. Stephen and his entire crew are knowledgable, friendly and easy to work with. All work was either completed early or on time.
