THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS I took in an image to be printed on a shirt and showed the front desk lady who already did not want to help me... I showed her what I wanted.... I showed the gentleman Ali there as well and they charged me and this is what I got! Not at alll what I wanted this is ridiculous actually!! They need to have common sense of asking the client what they would prefer instead of just taking my money!! When I called to express how this was not what I wanted at all I just got back and forth explanation of how the image can only be 12 inches. I didn't get an example of what I was to get instead and I paid 40$ for these shirts that I'm throwing away! Please make sure you get a "mock up" which the front desk girl said they will also charge you extra for or else you will end up stuck with whatever shirt they make even if IT LOOKS HORRIBLE! I ordered shirts along with the service of embroidering them. There was a set due date to be picked up in 2 weeks with the tone of assurance to complete my order. When the due date came, the shirts hadn't arrived. A week later, they had ordered and embroidered the wrong size of my order. Leaving another two weeks to wait until my order was ready. I decided to give them another chance and to my disappointment, the same thing happened again. And to add to the disappointment, there was no sympathy or apology for the time, gas, and hope spent on trying to receive my order. read more

I will never use JZ Embroidery in Duncanville again! I took in one item to be embroidered. I asked if they could match the font and color of thread based off a picture I had on my smartphone. I was told "yes" they could. After looking at different fonts, I agreed on one that matched my picture. I was not given the option to look at threads and quite honestly, it did not occur to me to ask if I could. I was told they could match the color based off my picture. I was told my item would be ready in one week. I paid for the service up front, as required and left. I came back the following week to pick up my item. The font was different than what I agreed on and the thread color did not match my picture. The man was very rude and said they cannot match thread color based off a picture and did not want to listen to my concerns. Now that I'm back from our honeymoon I can finally write a review for JZ Embroidery. I took my wedding favors to get embroidered there. My reception was a Pool Party, so my favors were beach towels. Abbas helped me to finalize the wording and layout. He was very easy to work with during the whole process, not overbearingly opinionated like I've experienced at other similar businesses in the past. I was there, the bride-to-be, by myself making the decisions. Abbas was so patient with my wedding planning scrambled brain. I swear I must've changed my mind probably five times before I finally drove away. I needed them done quickly, of course. Abbas gave me a great deal AND guaranteed they'd be done in plenty of time for my big day. I visit this store ever so often and have had nothing but fanatical service. Today I decided to write a review for them and noticed the negative review above. All I can say to this is that sometimes things go wrong and the fact that she mentioned that they 'fixed' it for her proves that they want their customers to be happy. I always get personalized gifts done from this store. The owner's son Ali has helped me customize initials on bags, socks, scarves and so much more that I use to give as gifts. Their prices are reasonable as well! They also offer a 10% discount on your purchase for liking their page on facebook! I think that was a pretty sweet deal! One thing I like about the place is that it is a family owned business with very friendly people. They always customize my embroidery according to my needs unlike other "chain-businesses" that have a set way of ordering! I dropped off my graduation stole on a Saturday and they told me it would be ready by Friday. I stopped by Thursday just to see if maybe it would be ready he said no which I was okay with. I go the following day and he said he has bad news that he couldn't find my stole. I told him I gave it to him in a yellow envelope, he finds said it'll take 15 minutes. I get home and some of the letter were backgrounds. Very disappointed. I didn't have time to take it back but I will never go back again. It's also over priced. read more

They put my item in the wrong place and the wrong size lettering. It was twice the size, not just a little bigger. We had discussed what i wanted multiple times when I originally brought the item in. He didn't write it down. I picked it up from the same guy that I had gone over the design and left it with. He said when the guy that was woking on the order asked where to place it he couldn't remember so he said wherever it was easier for the guy. He had taken my phone number which was on the invoice so could have easily called to ask. His response was basically too bad it is permanent and since I paid for it up front I had not recourse other than to write reviews. read more

Today I left their store utterly frustrated and unhappy. I decided to use their services to embroider some Victoria secret robes I purchased as gifts for my bridal party. I thought my request was pretty simple, 3 robes. One monogram for my bridal robe and two bridal party robes with their names and title. I having a destination wedding so my bridal party consist of only two people. My robe and my matron of honor robe turned out fine but my 3rd robe for my bridesmaid did not. Their business is family operated and very unorganized. On my initial order I spelled and wrote everything out as it should appear on the robes. When I went to pick up the robes the first time they were not ready as promised. I returned only to find the robe that should read bridesmaid said "Bride's Maid" on two separate lines !!!! I expressed my concern and he told me initially they couldn't fix it. The robes were no longer available from Victoria's Secret!!!! The owners son said he could take it off and try to redo , which he did, however the old embroidery left an imprint. Im so unhappy with them I had to leave a review. I hope if anyone uses them they purchase extra incase they mess up their items. Will NEVER use them again !!!!! read more
