Got my title transferred to the state here. I love that it's DOT approved so I was able to get my paperwork handled there. Title showed up within a week after. The first time I showed up I of course had forgotten a document and the guy there was nice and informative to make sure I knew what to have with me next time. Second time I went in I think I spent a total of 10 minutes getting everything handled and back out the door. I really appreciate how easy this arduous task was turned into. read more

Larry, I believe is the owner and he is rude, impatient and assumes the customer knows all the ins and outs the auto tag process. I was transferring my auto registration from California to Pennsylvania and the fax request he sent to my bank to get the title mailed to him didn't go through. When I called him and he was accusatory and argumentative and hung up on me. I then got the bank on a three-way call with him to straighten everything out and he was the same way with my bank representative and then hung up on them. If this man was just a robot he probably would be okay at his job but since he is a human with emotions and seems to hate his job and helping others, he makes the customer experience harder than it actually is. As other reviewers have experienced, the service here was rude for the sake of rudeness, and unbelievably unhelpful when asked questions about the steps involved in Pennsylvania's vehicle registration process. He muttered a few words during our interaction. If I asked a question to clarify and understand what he said, or what to expect going forward, I was met with a surly, curt, dismissive response of no use. I literally called to just confirm what I saw on the DMV website, and this guy was so adamant I was wrong in my information until he checked it himself. He was so rude and condescending, and was no help whatsoever. To top it off he hung up on me because I called him out on his BS. Terrible, I will definitely not be going there to do the transaction. I just moved from out of state and made the mistake of using this business for handling everything. It seemed very sketchy. The place reeked of cigarette smoke and the man working there was completely unprofessional and rude. Very condescending when I asked questions regarding the process. I've registered my car in many states, but never a state that uses a 3rd party, so that was strange to me. They only take cash and I noticed after leaving that the amount listed on the hand written receipt was less than I had paid, so now I have nothing showing the actual amount I paid to register my car. Another concern I had was that the license plate he gave me looks used... I plan on following up with the actual DMV to confirm this process /company is legit. Either way, I would highly discourage anyone from going there. read more

This place is a sham. As a new resident of PA, I went in to get my car registered and obtain new plates. I should have walked out as soon as I entered the store. It's small, dingy, smells bad, and there are signs plastered all over the walls with various price lists, policies, and other notices. Their main price list hanging on the wall is prices that the state of PA charges for various services - NOT what K&A charges, which I found out later. I didn't see a price list of what K&A charges posted anywhere. Looking at the price list on the wall, I thought "Well that's not bad, I'll ignore the run-down nature of the place and go ahead." So the guy fills out the paperwork, submits my information to the state, and then charges me something like $175. Double checking the price list on the wall, I figured it should have only been about $60. It was then that he tells me that those are the prices charged by PA, and that it's separate from K&A's charges (which again, aren't posted anywhere). By this time, he's already submitted my information to the DMV, cancelled my previous state's registration, printed my new registration, and had my new plates, so I figured I had no other option than to pay the exorbitant fees this place charges. Oh, and they only take cash, so I had to go across the street to an ATM (and pay those additional fees, of course), and give the guy cash. All in all, I felt like I was swindled - they're not upfront about their cost, and then they cancel your prior state's registration BEFORE telling you what the cost is...so even if you wanted to change your mind and go to a real DMV, it's too late. Shady, shady business practices for sure. I hope this place goes out of business hard. read more

Arrived at 5:15 PM, sign on the door stated that they close at 5:30. With two other customers still in there, the employee shouted at us yelling, "We're closed". He is quite the hostile individual. If you are rich in money but poor in time this is the place for you. The extra fees this place charges on top of what the dmv/rmv charges is literally embarrassing. I went in here by mistake and took care of my car registration and title. When I saw the bill I almost threw up in my mouth. As a college student living off loans I would have spent my day at the registry and saved myself all this extra money. I just went in to inquire about a replacement registration card. 26 dollars. This is 6 dollars at the registry. 20 dollar fee is more than excessive for a simple process. I told the clerk I would take care of it at the registry - and I will. read more

I never write Yelp reviews, but feel strongly enough about my experience with this establishment to write one now. This individual should not be in customer service. Rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. The "company email address" is an @yahoo.com domain. I moved to PA and needed to get my vehicle registration transferred. I did all my research beforehand, and then asked him a few questions to clarify the process. The employee treated me like I was an idiot. As if I transfer my vehicle registration to a new state every day and should know the process by heart! His job, not mine. I will never use this company again. read more

I stopped in to get my license renewed because I needed it immediately and could not wait the week or so it would take to do it by mail The very friendly clerk answered all of my questions and I walked out with a photo card in order to renew my license. The only downside is that you pay $20 extra for this service. So if you need something done in a pinch and can afford the extra fee then this is the place for you. I'd rather pay $20 extra than get a big fine for driving with an expired license. read more
