I was looking for bulk candy and needed some specific types of candy. Before going to the actual location I went to the website beforehand and could browse what they have. Their physical location of this store sits in a small plaza below a car dealership along Route 30. Getting here is kind of easy depending on the direction on 30 you are coming. Eastbound, easy, pull onto the road. Westbound, may god have mercy on your soul, try crossing two lanes of downhill traffic while uphill traffic behind you is just zips by or backs up. When you exit, just don't go that way, go the opposite way as it will take you where you need to be and it is much easier on your stress for the day. I don't want to state the obvious here, but you become a kid in a candy shop when you enter. The front of the store is your basic candy store with items that are singular in nature and runs the gambit. Candies that you forgot about will show their faces. Then you move towards the back of the store and enter the holy grail of bulk candy. It is rather well organized and you can find what you want quite easily. If you cannot find what you are looking for, just ask the employee back here and they know exactly where it is. I was looking for something and it was literally right in front of my face, but I kept overlooking it. I spent a lot of money here, but it was bulk candy and for an event, it was well spent money. It can be hard to figure out what you want as you take in all they have to offer here. Homemade fudge, chocolate covered pretzels and Oreo cookies, giant peanut butter cups, chocolate cluster treats, lollipops, caramel apples...and more! Every sweet goodie you could ask for is available here. I won't pretend that this is the cheapest candy store, but considering the quality of the goodies here, the splurge is SO worth it. The homemade fudge in particular is some of the best in the city, and it's hard for me to say no to an M&M topped cup of chocolate. I always visit this little place on my way out of Kennywood. So do a lot of other guests, so the store fills up at the end of the night. For me waiting in line beats carrying sweet chocolate around the park all day, especially in the summer; but if you'd rather skip the worst of the line, you'll want to avoid a last minute visit as you exit Kennywood. I took a slight detour on the way to work one morning to finally try all of their goodies. Apple Harvest is a newer bakery and catering service out of North Versailles. They serve a variety of donuts, baked goods, pastries, breads, soups, made-to-order breakfast and lunch items, and more. They are located on an unsuspecting street, with mostly industrial businesses around them. It is a few blocks off of Route 30/Lincoln Highway, and it relatively easy to get to. The building has nice decoration and signage out front, so it is easy to locate for a first-timer. As for the interior, it is a smaller space, with a few chairs inside for those waiting on their order. There is no real dine-in option here, as there are no tables inside or outside. There are dedicated parking spaces in front of the building. Additionally, there is some asphalt on the other side of the street for overflow parking. Overall, not a ton of places to park here, but I do not think it should be an issue for anyone coming to visit. I arrived to the bakery around 8:20 AM on a Thursday in September, and it was not too busy. There were a few other customers that came through while I was inside, but I did not have to wait in any line or for very long to be taken care of. The reason I wanted to come here was because of the delicious-looking donuts that I saw online. They are square in shape, absolutely gigantic, and are decorated very well in accordance to their flavor profile. Definitely an Instagram-worthy treat. In addition, they also offer other pies, breads, baked goods, soups, and drinks. They even have a food menu for breakfast and lunch items. I took a few minutes to look around at both the donut selection, as well as the other menu items available that day. The donuts available are displayed in a case that you can see to your left when entering the establishment. It was so hard to choose which ones I would get, because they truthfully all looked so good. The employee who was working the front was very kind and helpful in answering my questions, as well as fulfilling my order. I ended up ordering a half-dozen of donuts with the Maple Glazed Cinnamon Twist, Mocha Chocolate Cream, Burnt Almond Torte, Pumpkin Cream with Pumpkin Frosting, Strawberry Crunch, and Coconut Crunch. I also got an Apple Fritter as well. For my breakfast, I chose a Sausage, Egg and Cheese on a Homemade English Muffin. There was also the option to get this sandwich on a glazed donut. I did not get that on this trip, but will have to come back and try it sometime! The sandwiches are made-to-order, so I waited about 5 or so minutes for it to be prepared. As for the donuts, the employees will pack them in the box for you to take home. Since I was on my way to work, I took everything with me to-go. I thought the sandwich was really good! I always appreciate homemade breads, especially English Muffins. It was cooked well, very cheesy, and overall a great and hearty start to the day. I also like how these are somewhat customizable, as sometimes breakfast sandwiches are fixed menu items that cannot be changed in any way. Usually, I am not a huge sweets for breakfast person, so I saved my donuts to take home and enjoy later in the day. And wow, they were awesome! Though they are very large, they are more of a traditional donut, so they are not too heavy. It would be very easy to eat a full one in one sitting, but also large enough to split with someone. My favorites were the Coconut Crunch, Burnt Almond Torte, and the Pumpkin Cream, though none of them were bad. My fiance loved the Apple Fritter. In terms of value, I believe this place is fair. The breakfast sandwich was $7 before tax, which is what I would consider somewhat average for a local place. My 6 donuts and apple fritter cost me around $25, which for the size and quality I thought was a reasonable cost. Some of them cost more than others, such as if there is filling. The price is definitely more of a once-in-a-while treat, but worth it regardless. Nevertheless, I think for good, homemade items you will get your money's worth here. The only note I have on prices is that some were not displayed, which I would have preferred to see before I purchased. I am glad that my TikTok feed wanted me to come here so badly! This is a nice spot on the East side of Pittsburgh with quality, homemade goods. The donuts are fun and different from any other place in the city, so for that alone it is worth a trip to try. I would love to try some of their other foods or catering items in the future. Plus of course, more of the donuts in different flavors. I know they are relatively new, but I hope there is a wider selection of non/donut items to purchase the next time I come. I would recommend giving Apple Harvest a try if you have yet to visit!

The donuts are square in shape which is unique. I decided to try a cream filled as this is my favorite go to donut and a maple glazed cinnamon roll. They were also serving breakfast sandwiches and they had a cooler of drinks. They do not have any seating this is a take out only establishment. The cinnamon roll was fantastic, the cream donut was okay but I didn't love it and it didn't beat the competitor in my opinion. However, they are generous with the filling. The maple bacon donut looked amazing....next time I'll try that!
