I had been living with broken louvers for about six months and was afraid I was going to have to completely trash all my blinds and get a whole new set--a costly proposition. I solicited bids based on measurements. Then I realized that I might have misstated the measurements so I asked for confirmation of their original quote. Their response was that they could not do so without an on-site visit. I did not want a slew of bidders traipsing through my house until I had narrowed down the list of possibles. The great reviews are well-deserved. The rope on my roll-up blinds broke and I didn't know who to call. I checked Yelp and saw all the positive reviews of K&D. I left a message for K&D and within 30 minutes Dan returned my call and he said he'd come over in a couple of hours. He did. Although he didn't he the exact length of new rope on hand, he provided a temporary replacement so I could use the blinds and he ordered a new one.
