I actually found them on Yelp by setting up a project on here to replace some blinds I had broken in my room. My project was to install shutters over four windows in a bedroom, after having upgraded the windows to argon gas heat insulating. I included C&C Shutters in my project bid. Brett, the owner was responsive and quick to schedule an estimate. I was told by another window covering company that I used for different project that my only options were interior or exterior fitment when shutters are used. This as it turns out was incorrect. I am glad that I included C&C in the bid process. Brett informed me that a third option is available for shutters, which are referred to as "Z shutters", based on their shape and fitment partially in the window socket and a small 1//2 inch exterior lip protruding from the wall (far smaller than an exterior shutter which protrudes 2 inches from the wall). I was provided with a competitive price estimate on the spot, which I accepted. All measurements were taken at the time of estimate, the shutters were ordered, and were delivered and installed slightly ahead of time based on the estimated time of delivery. I love that the shutters can be opened in several configurations (see photos). On the day of installation, Jim and Jake were polite, professional, had great attention to detail and did an excellent clean up (not that there was much of a mess anyway). The finished product exceeded my expectations. Five stars all the way. I will gladly use them again. read more
