Anyway, Charming Charlie's sells cute dresses, jewelry, handbags, shoes, hats, sunglasses, and other accessories, all organized by color. For some reason every item I saw in there (no matter what it was) kept coming up at $24.99. I don't know about that. Most of the rings in there were priced at $9.99 and their necklaces were priced around $17.99. Everything in there was very classy. I walked out with a $204 bill. I recommend this store if you're looking for something nice to wear to work or to wear out on a Saturday night. Very cute things.

I've never had particularly kind service here but today took the cake. The start of the checkout process was something of an interrogation involving every bit of personal information they could possibly ask for. They asked for things repeatedly and asked me to double check everything (lots of mistakes). After that, running my card was something of a fiasco, the first two times it didn't work at all even though it went through the whole process (I'll have to check for excess charges now). To pile insult upon tedium, the manager helping with the transaction looked at me and said "well you're a testy one aren't you?" If that were ever an appropriate thing to say to a paying customer who had complied perfectly with your Byzantine instructions, I'm sure everyone would agree that it is incredibly tacky to say after the payment has been received. It is my deepest regret that I did not get the name of the short white lady manager.

I stopped into this location tonight and it was a complete train wreck. The store was a mess, items not folded, tables not recovered, items on the shelf have been unfolded and just stuffed back on the shelf. You can tell no one in this store cares about customer perception or protecting the brand image. I was not greeted when I came in. There was one other customer in the store toward the back working with a female employee. There was a male behind the cash wrap doing nothing but standing around, dressed horribly, eating chips or some kind of snack out of a bag. I added a picture to this review. I took a picture of the guy he was in no way shape or form dressed or behaving the way an employee of the brand should be especially in a fashion retail establishment. I began looking for the shirt I needed for the next day as the one I had was ruined by something on the iron at the hotel. No one ever came to ask if I needed help. I even used the step stool on the floor to climb on top of to reach the shirts I wanted to check sizes on and still no one offered to help. I then found two shirts I wanted to see how they fit as I was already wearing a GS dress shirt I wanted to see if these fit the same. I asked the young lady for a fitting room explaining I was not sure which size would be best and she politely took me over to a fitting room. Nether her nor the male offered to take a measurement or any discussion around my uncertainty for size. I tried on the shirts and then came out to look for one additional size. There was no one else was in the store at this time. They were both behind the cashwrap talking about the conference call the next day and how they were told they better not be any more than 5 min late...etc etc. I found the other shirt on my own returned to the fitting room and decided on a shirt. I went to the register and the young lady began to ring me up. She was polite enough and noticed I was from Texas near where she was from and tried to make a connection. I was not really interested in having a conversation at this point so I politely commented back and completed my purchase. The male continued to stand behind the cashwrap area in his white t-shirt eating chips. The young lady was trying to make an effort but there is clearly a lack of leadership in this location, lack of attention to detail, and very poor customer service. I would never return to this location and would not recommend anyone else I know to them.
