Coming from Los Angeles we can be real snobs with this subject as we have experienced great theater at places like Disneyland, Upright Citizens Brigade Improve theater and even The Hollywood Bourbon Rooms interactive production of Rock of Ages (sadly ended during COVID). It is wonderful to see this group has sustained for so long and many people rave about it. I even had a client in Los Angeles visiting from AZ tell me he had heard great things about this company, albeit not experienced it before. The show we saw was hosted at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant. The food is in alignment with the restaurant; oversized portions served family style with a limited set menu. That being said, they were able to accommodate my vegan husband and other guests at my table that are gluten free. The theater production takes place before and during your dinner in one of the private rooms at the restaurant. Everyone gets a character name tag so be prepared to be pulled up to participate. It's all a part of the fun. The room hosted about 20 diners/attendees making it an intimate experience. Perfect for all ages and laughs were shared all around. I highly recommend to any local or out of towner to spice up your dinner with this lively and colorful experience.

I let that go at the time, assuming it was an isolated issue. Unfortunately, I am now having a similar and even more concerning experience. I recently purchased tickets for an upcoming production and only discovered that the company is listed as "temporarily closed" when I visited the website to confirm the address. No notification was ever sent to inform ticket holders that the production would no longer be taking place. Since learning this, I have reached out multiple times to request information about when I would receive a refund for my ticket. To date, I have received no response. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is extremely disappointing. Customers should not have to actively investigate whether a paid event is still happening, nor should they be left without responses regarding refunds for canceled productions.

Luckily we did CYT in San Diego and loved it we were thrilled to see there was a CYT in Arizona! The classes are amazing and the shows are unparalleled! The kids get to do shows at Mesa Arts Center which is so incredible all the kids feel like professionals. It's a must see event! Volunteering is the most rewarding part of CYT for me. You get to interact with the kids and families on a whole other level. I met so many incredible people that have now become like family and it's just the most incredible feeling. Both my daughters have said they've never felt more at home or accepted for who they are. They just adore everyone at CYT and have built incredible friendships and built their confidence up beyond belief.

My husband had pretty much no prior dance experience, and I only had a little, but the choreography was simple enough that we could keep up. Our instructor also built on the basics in such a way that we felt like we learned a lot, even in just two lessons! She even caught footage of our practice dance, mostly for the purposes of reference when practicing at home, but it's also become a treasured memory (I included a little bit of it alongside our actual first dance from the wedding in the video alongside the review)! While we're no longer local to the Phoenix area, the lessons we had gave us more confidence, and have encouraged us to get into more dance in the years since our wedding. I changed my review because I don't believe the front desk women I spoke to on the phone represents Bender performing Arts as a whole, since my other daughters class experiences here have been pleasant and positive. All 3 of my daughters started going a few months ago. The 6 year old classroom where parents sit is dark because the light has to be off to even kinda see your kid. There is a small window in this small room where you can try to look in. It's awful. The teacher is very nice but doesn't give direction. The kids just do whatever and she doesn't correct them or help them. I called to get some help for these issues and I was told I was the only one who feels this way and there was nothing they could do.
