It was pretty clear that the cashier did not want to be there, and he told the person in front of me he was out of certain bags already, and it was still the afternoon on what I assume is one of the busiest days of the year. I got a paper bag for my bottle of sparkling wine that looked like a brown bag you'd take your lunch to work in. There are other liquor stores near here with a much better selection. While I understand that the register may close at 8 PM, many liquor stores typically allow customers to enter a few minutes prior to closing if they know what they need. With several stores now adjusting their hours to close at 8 PM instead of 9 PM, I am trying to adapt to this change. I kindly suggest updating your hours sign to indicate that you close at 7:55 PM to prevent any future misunderstandings.
