Worst nail experience ever. It's been a LONG time since I've gotten a pedicure because of covid and so I planned on getting their top pedicure and tipping well because I know businesses have suffered. Can you imagine how disappointing it was to be told they don't do any ingrown nail work or even clean up the dead skin on the edges? I'm a picker so I have to have it done or the pedicure is pointless. I've never had a nail salon not even touch it! I mean they didn't clean up the cuticles, dig out dead skin, clip anything....they just filed my already skin short nails. They also barely touched my calluses. The whole thing was disappointing. My daughter and I have been going here for a few months. Last pedicure we got she immediately started having toe pain and within 24 hours was at urgent care being treated for a bad infection. (See picture)10 days of antibiotics later and she is losing the toenail all together. My last nail appointment I called and scheduled with Ryan (who is very good at fingernails) another older women started on my nails, I though she was just getting my nails ready but nope she did the whole thing. Why can't people just do a good job, especially for what they charge? I paid closer to $100 for my pedicure and gel nails. And this is what I got--a sloppy rushed mess. The lines near the cuticles and the edges are messy, the paint job is sloppy. It doesn't look profesional in the least. The paint started to chip after 3 days. When I go to a salon to get my nails fixed and painted, I expect to walk out with professional results. I was trying this place out for the first time, and I will not be going back. I just moved to the area, so I am on the hunt for my local self-care faves. I decided to try K&Q out of the nail salons first because their site is appealing, the prices are semi-reasonable, and they're super close. I called the day of to see if I could get an afternoon appointment on a Tuesday (to try and avoid a rush) for a Gel Manicure ($32) and a Deluxe Pedicure ($32 -- the basic pedicure doesn't include a massage which is a bummer). I luckily was able to squeeze in because to my surprise, it was crazy busy when I arrived. I was greeted and asked to pick out color for my toes. I waited a couple mins for the gel color ring. I really liked their selection of colors, but they do not seem to have non-toxic options like Zoya. The woman who did my pedicure was very welcoming and friendly, but she did not really understand anything I said or asked. The callous removal was excellent! The younger woman who did my manicure was also the same person answering the phone (which was blowing up the whole hour I was there), so she was very clearly rushed and scattered. The entire reason I go to a nail salon is because my cuticles/hang nails start to hurt, and I am not very good at removing them myself. I go to a salon probably every 2-3 months, so this is a treat every time I go. She did not cut my cuticles or hang nails (which I thought was a give-in) until I pointed them out to her and asked her to remove them. Mind you, this was after she painted my nails and held up my hand, asking me to check the color. She hastily clipped a couple, but she never even removed the dirt from under my fingernails. I asked her to do so, but apparently didn't understand what I was trying to ask. I usually don't get gels anymore because the UV machine burns the crap outta my fingertips, but I just moved, so unpacking boxes/nesting means more work for these nails! Nevertheless, the polish bubbled right away and chipped within a few days despite me wearing gloves. It's a little more expensive than I am used to, so I was expecting a little better of an experience. I gave them a decent tip, so this 'meh' experience cost upwards of $100. I think I will keep shopping around, but I'll hold onto the punch card. I'm still confused as to why they were so busy if this is the quality they offer at the price they charge? read more

Literally just sitting in the parking lot crying. My mom and I are pretty loyal customers. I've never had a problem getting my nails done here, but I've always gotten the brothers, never the sister. My mom has gotten the sister every time we come, and she's always had an attitude and been very gruff with my mom. We like the salon and the nails are always really pretty so we've put up with her attitude because the rest of the family has been nice. This time was really harsh and I had to review it because I've never had an experience anywhere like this. Today I came in to get a dip manicure for my wedding in 7 days. I asked her for an ombré color. I told her it's really important that it's white on the tips and that the pink doesn't change the shade. For some reason, that was the last straw. She ended up yelling at me in front of everyone in the store, saying every time I come in I'm so picky and I'm this and that. I kept my calm and told her I've not been rude or disrespectful to her once, and I don't understand why she is treating me this way. She then goes to say I'm always late and I looked her in the eyes and said you know that is not true. So she stopped saying that and went back to say I'm picky. I told her I'm getting married in 7 days, and I'm paying for a certain look. I'm the one who has to wear the nails so of course I'm gonna make sure she understands what I'm asking for. I then said if she prefers I don't come back then that's okay. She then began yelling again saying yes do not come back again, do not come back. I'm not gonna lie, that was pretty offensive and I was holding back tears because she was being really rude and not having any concern for how I feel. I then asked her to please stop what she's doing and go ahead and take the product off of my nails so I can go somewhere else. She kept yelling saying you want me to take it off?! Fine I'll take it off!! I finally was able to leave, even though my parents were still getting there nails done by the brothers. My parents were really angry about the treatment but I told them to stay calm and it's okay, we just won't come back. The nail tech was the young sister, and she let everyone know she's the manager so there's no one else to talk to above her (even though I didn't even ask for a manager). I'm seriously sad. I really liked this place until my experience recently and I won't be returning. Typically the salon is clean and the technicians do a great job with dip gel and acrylic nails. The male technician was rude and rougher than usual -- I'm very easy going and have always tipped well. I was so caught off guard when I was cut repeatedly, my hands were yanked around, and then told over and over that I need to relax my hands. I wanted the whole thing to be over. I went here because my usual nail place in Lehi was booked solid. I needed a fill before a trip and was able to get an appointment with Tiffany. She was great, my fill is holding up really well even with the wear and tear from vacationing. They also offer chrome, marbling, and other trends I'm not familiar with but see on instagram. I will definitely be going back. Heads up for pedicures: they use liners, disposable pedicure tool kits, and the techs wear gloves. That's a big deal to me, because nail spas can breed infections like crazy, especially pedicures. If I ever get another pedicure I will definitely will be getting it here! read more

I came in on a Friday and asked if we can make a reservation for three pedicures for the next day. And they had an opening. I brought my nieces to get pedicures and we had a great experience. It's very clean...classic decor and has a spa atmosphere. You don't smell any harsh chemicals and they have a diffuser going. We got a deluxe pedicure for $30 that included callous removal and a paraffin wax treatment as well as all the traditional pedicure things. They use plastic liners in their tubs and their massage chairs and new and comfy. I didn't feel rushed at all and we had a really great experience. One thing I like is they say that within three days if you're not happy with your service they will redo it. That's a great guarantee. I have found my new pedicure spot in Utah County. read more

It is so pretty in here! Relaxing, soft, dreamy pink spa. Light pink walls, lotus art, the light fixtures are soothing and the ones above that remind me of fireflies floating in the pond. You can sit back and breathe in here. These guys are so good. They are gentle, kind, friendly, and take genuine care of you and your tender little toes! I made an appointment for my mom and sisters on a Friday for a week night the next week and it wasn't busy and they were not in a hurried stressed out fashion even though they had a good amount of people in there. They had a full staff so all the people in there were served in a timely manner. The water wasn't too hot or too cold, their selection of polishes were vast, and their tools were clean. They do not use those graters that can actually damage your feet, so I was grateful for that. My massage chair wasn't working totally well but my party's chairs were so not a huge deal because stuff breaks down, it's inevitable, I understand. There are TVs in there, in my opinion it's a bit of a distraction but if you like it, they were nice, clear, and at a good peaceful level. The staff actually interacted with us, which seems rare, but we loved chatting with them. READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO HERE! I found this place through yelp and driving past it a few times. When I saw the photos on yelp I was so impressed since past salons I've gone to are not as nice. I immediately made an appointment. But I regret coming here. The guy doing my nails kept getting on his phone and me being the nice person I am didn't say anything. It gets worse.....he paused half way through to start on another client as I sat there waiting. I was beginning to get frustrated but didn't want to be rude. He then rushed my nails and he did the wrong color, gave me 3 cuts on my fingers. When he "finished" my set he almost did a tap out and just walked away. I'm still in shock that it was THAT bad. Place is clean and cute but service was not the best. Didn't start my pedicure until 20 minutes after my appointment. The man who did my pedicure grinded off my polish rather than soaking it(which isn't good for your nails). I have a blister on my toe and he was not gentle at all, it even bled a little. He used no cuticle softener and when he filed them, they were very uneven. I had to ask to have them fixed multiple times. Incredible salon - although very busy - it's worth the wait. I'd recommend booking in advance vs walking in. My gal Lily was recommended to me by one of my daughter-in-laws and she was right - excellent. I had a new full set with French tips. I wear them very short due to piano and computer work. Then goes that'll take an hr do you have an hr I'm like no but I was there 30 mins she drilled my nails then soaked them I was there for an hr after that as she was working on 2 other girls after me on top of it she cut my finger. She chopped my natural nail clear to the stub not happy at all. And still left with my nails not done. I'm just upset they didn't try to resolve the problem poor customer service here. I Googled this nail salon and I saw all the great reviews. So I decided to get my nails done today. When I went in they were pretty busy but they had time to do my nails. Everything was great, they did a great job. I did feel it was kinda rushed due to how many people were coming in, I get that. Beware of this so-called nail salon--they are VERY UNFRIENDLY! Jennie and her brother are rude, unkind and do an awful job. My family and I got our nails done; the manicures literally peeled off a few days later. We were shocked! Jennie did my nails--a few broke off a few days later. They were kind before I had to get my nails fixed, when I asked to repair them correctly, they were horrible! The brother acted like he was put out to do my nails. He and Jennie are the worst people I've had the displeasure to work with... Thankfully, there are much better nail salons (on almost every block) to choose from with kind, more experienced people to do our nails. They lost my family or friends business.
