It was rainy season, so I needed the repairs done quickly. My house is tall, and I needed a professional to scale it. A friend suggested I call Knockout Home Improvement, and I'm glad I did! The soffit job was completed perfectly and neatly in one day after speaking with the contractor Mr. James. Mr. James took before and after pics, and I must say I was pleased with his work. While repairing the soffit, the contractor noticed two areas where the gutters were missing. I never noticed it but I did noticed ice and water would collect in those areas, so Mr. James quoted me a price and said he could install the gutters within that week. DONE! No hassles, no haggling. Thank you Mr. James for your efficiency and professionalism. I highly recommend your company to anyone who need work done in a timely and neat fashion.

I'm very dissatisfied with James Fortunes services. We hired him back in February to install a couple of appliances. A job that would take no more than 4 hours. He arrived at 9AM on Friday and did not leave till 9:45PM AT NIGHT! He took 2 hour breaks to get parts and food, and acted like he had no idea what he was doing. Excuse, after excuse with him. This was ridiculous. He then finally installed the oven leaving gaps that were unfinished. The next day he shows up and spent another 7 hours at our house and still felt like nothing was finished. He took a very long time and ruined everything and was not considerate of our time and our needs. Fast forward to June, he decides to return and install drawers underneath the oven which would probably take no more than an hour which ended up taking another 8 hours to try and complete figuring out how to fit them in. He also uninstalled the oven just to fit the drawers in. He left everything worse than he found it and our oven did not work after that. He turned a simple task into a huge messed up situation. The stuff of nightmares! He was not considerate of my wife and I's time and situation and left a mess in our kitchen. He simply would not leave, he just stayed until we kicked him out and fired him! I tried looking up to see if he is licensed of any kind with the state of MI and could not find anything on him. A total complete contractor nightmare, time and money wasted!
