It was lighting and thundar and about to rain so we were in a hury. She got out the instructions to read, and I said we dont have time its going to start raining. So we got it on but didn't look right but it started raining so that was the way it was going to be. So at 7am i recorded a message to the owner of the company asking him to come look at the cover and tell us what we did wromg knowing they didn't open till 8wm. I AM TELLING THE TRUTH BEFORE 9:30 I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE OWNER AND AT AROUND 11AM HE WAS IN MY DEIVEWAY. HE WALKED UP AND SAID HI DENNIS YOUR COVER IS ON BACKWARDS IT WAS A SCORCHING HOT SUMMER DAY IN THE 90'S AND HE STARTED TURNING IT AROUND AND SHOWING ME THE CORRECT WAY TO INSTASLL THE COVER.

That said, I was disappointed by the lack of upfront communication around rates and time. No estimate was provided, the hourly rate had changed without notice, and the final invoice reflected 4.5 hours for a scope that many experienced Yanmar owners would expect to take less time. The billing explanation came after the fact and relied on shop-rate comparisons that didn't feel applicable to a mobile job in Mobile. I paid the invoice, but transparency and expectation-setting could be much better. If you use this service, I'd strongly recommend confirming the hourly rate and estimated time before work begins.
