Looking at everyone else's reviews, you'll find this place is nothing but awesome! The B&B is…read morelocated in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the Belsize Park underground station. In terms of location, there are several shops, restaurants, cafes, laundromats, pharmacies, and grocery stores for convenience. Deepa is just a wonderful caring person and is briliant in how she operates her bed-and-breakfast. She puts out a great spread for breakfast every morning which is delicious, fresh, and scrumptious. Make sure you get one of her special croissants. Rooms are very well cleaned and has all the conveniences you would need which include a comfortable bed, a private bathroom/shower, a TV, and a closet to name a few. There is also a common area on the second floor where you could lounge to relax, use the computer, the kitchen, and mingle with other travelers. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to London. I plan to stay here on my next trip.

Beautiful service, lovely staff the food is incredible. The ceramic plates and serveware, warm-atmosphere -just top notch. This place is a gem. Sea Bream, Char grilled Squid, Mushroom Toast, Short rib ravioli-all devoured before photos could be taken. We were well cared for, and well fed, which is really what it's all about, isn't it? Thank you Gold for the dreamy experience By the way, I am writing this review as I sit at the table....its that good
I'm not really sure why this establishment is rated below four stars here on Yelp. Most bad ratings…read moreare from way back, and maybe there was a change in ownership/management or so? However, this place was a pleasant surprise on a long weekend trip to London. Visiting Portobello market in the morning and being hungry at lunch, we stopped there just by accident, which we rarely do without consulting apps like, e.g., Yelp. (Would we had checked on Yelp, we probably wouldn't have gone.) Space was rare, so we were seated at the bar area with a full-scale view of the kitchen. Dishes (I posted some photos) served in a sharing/tapas style, the menu consisting of a variety of starters, grilled vegetables, and deliciously prepped meat options. Watching the chefs preparing the food right before us made the experience even more fascinating. We ordered six plates and all of them were very delicious. The service was quick and exceptionally friendly, paying attention to every detail. Before clearing our check, we were asked by someone of the senior staff (or owner?) if we were happy with our lunch. We confirmed that all was very good; just the squid was a little chewy (but still good). To our surprise, he insisted on taking it off the bill immediately. Well, he didn't have to because we ate it and were happy, but hey, it's one more of many, many reasons to give this place a full five stars.

Where's that 3 1/2 star option?…read more What Juliette's Guest House (aka Dawson Place) has going for it are things I can't overlook: * Excellent location, in Notting Hill; * Nice, ample breakfast wheeled into your room at the time you specify; and * Charmingly authentic in-room Victorian era decor. Where Juliette's Guest House falls short is in two areas, one fixable and one not: * The mattress was like a plank. Laying in bed was the opposite of luxuriating in bed. Juliette, wherever you are, invest in new mattresses. * The house is on a corner and the side street has a good deal of car and bus noise. Bring your earplugs. With that out of the way, you should be able to decide if Juliette's is for you which likely comes down to how strongly you desire to stay in Notting Hill. A few other things to help you decide: * With no communal indoor rooms to sit in (though the garden is pleasant), Juliette's is some sort of hybrid B&B. There is always someone on-site to help but that person appears to be the hired help. This presented no problems during my 2 night stay. * There's stairs up to the front door and to your room. * Two nights, including VAT and breakfast, ran £311.22 ($378.97).

Our room was near the kitchen which we were always welcome in. They bring down a cart for breakfast. In the old days, you'd find yourself in a London BnB eating the classic English breakfast with sausages, baked beans, and a whole bunch of fatty, dense food you didn't want weighing down your stomach on a day walking around London. Instead, Juliette provides a lovely spread of toast and croissants (with FRESH butter, marmalade and jams), fresh orange juice, tea or coffee, muesli, cheeses, fruits, and a lower tier with milk and cereal ... all delivered at your morning leisure. They also have a stunning garden, where me and my travelers sat at the end of the day, relaxed, and drank our beers. An overall lovely place!

I think it's primarily a corporate housing type place meant for slightly longer stays, but it worked fine as a vacation rental too. Certainly more space than a hotel room or even two, and nice to have your own kitchen. Daily maid service included; a big bonus in vacation rentals. Also an onsite manager, Gregory, who was very friendly and helped with the "little things" like an extra power adaptor and booking car service. Biggest highlight was the Little Venice neighborhood & street, which felt very safe and high end, but which just a block from some restaurants and 2 blocks from the Tube. Europe House is also connected to the private Crescent Gardens, a gorgeous oversized yard with room for your kids to play ball or run around.
