Mark asked me if I wanted "fine garden soil, no clumps." To which I said, yes, please. Delivery was quick, but what I received was not what I ordered. I received clay, with some large clumps approx 6-8 inches. It also has little rocks in it. I have video and pictures, but I don't know how to include them in this review. I gave Mark the benefit of the doubt, by calling and questioning the delivery. I was hoping, the wrong order was delivered by mistake. He said, there was no mistake, it "might have a little bit of clay." But no, what I received is straight up clay. I can pick it up and squish it and it doesn't crumble, it stays in the squished form, you know, like clay does. I cannot grow a garden in clay. Which is why I ordered the "fine garden soil, no clumps" from him to begin with. He then responds with "well, that's the best quality soil you'll get around here." I'm disgusted with deception. He sold me "fine garden soil, no clumps." What he had delivered was clay. I would have been better off digging up the grass and saving my $392.20. What is also disturbing is that he is a magistrate, but won't back his businesses product and had a blase' (I don't care, it's your problem, I got my money), attitude about it. I will take my business elsewhere. If he had been honest from the first phone call, my inquiry call, I wouldn't have bought from him. Did he already know this and so he misled me? I can only speculate, but now when I hear the business name and his name Mark Ranshaw, the synonyms that will cross my mind will be dishonest, corrupt, shameful, untrustworthy, etc.

If you think they may not have it in stock you may be surprised as I have been a number of times. Also if they don't have it you can ask them to bring it in and they will work to accommodate. We were told that if we did not order by then we would not get the discount. So we ordered by the date, but our order was not put in until 8 days later. They still honored the discount, but I felt rushed to make a decision because of the "discount end date". The only day we went in there to look at things they turned the lights out and rushed us out because they were getting ready to close. The first time the cabinets were delivered one item was damaged and several were ordered in the wrong size. The new items came in January and these items were ordered in the wrong color. So now it will be March 2023 before our cabinets are installed...if they were ordered correctly. I've contacted Lumber King multiple times and they were no help. After they got my money they did not contact me back when I had questions or follow through on things they said they would do. I've also contacted the cabinet company Kraftmaid and they have not returned my call. I would recommend going somewhere else. Absolutely horrible experience.

We had ordered a couch with a cuddled seat and a chair. It was a larger piece than most couches. The furniture came in the back of a box truck. The had stacked pieces of furniture on top of other pieces. When our couch came off the truck it had wrinkles in the back from being stacked. The delivery guy said the wrinkles should come out in s couple of hours. The furniture was not wrapped with any protective covering. The guys were carrying the couch with their bare hands. At one point the were trying to force the couch through my front door and the fabric was rubbing against the door frame and the metal strip. I told them that wasn't not going to work. Overall, the entire delivery process was beyond frustrating. When you are spending over a thousand dollars on a sofa, you expect much better. I called Kemper's and told them about my frustration while the delivery guys were still here. I was told they would tell the owner and hey were apologetic. However, I never heard back from anyone at Kemper's. I won't be returning.
