From the very first call, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable choosing them. There was no upselling, in-fact Perry convinced me to drop some unnecessary equipment (which would have otherwise added to the invoice price). The installation went smoothly, and the team (David, Nathan and John) took their time to explain everything clearly and answer all of our questions. What really sets them apart is the support after the installation. Anytime we've had a question or needed help, they've been quick to respond and genuinely happy to assist. The owner, Perry, dropped by a couple of days after installation to help us out on an issue. It's rare to find a company that truly cares about their customers the way they do. It feels great supporting a local family business, and we feel much safer in our home because of them. We did thorough due diligence for a couple of months and are happy to work with N&D Security. Initial Communication: Before settling on N & D for my home security system, I did tons of research, including research into all the big home security companies. Unlike other companies, N & D Security does not lock you into a long-term contract, nor did they try to upsell me on products and services that were beyond the scope of my needs. Rather, Perry readily identified what would likely make sense for my home, asked incisive and poignant questions about my home security needs, and carefully listened to and thoughtfully answered all my questions. He then diligently followed up with a recommended package for my home. Perry's attention to detail, follow-up communications, and responsiveness was impeccable. And I was all the more impressed given the fact that N & D is a small team that essentially operates as a family-owned business. Installation: The installation could not have been more seamless. John, Darren, and David arrived promptly. They installed the security system and had me up and running in little to no time. I was thoroughly impressed by the service--the N & D team went above and beyond anything I could have expected. For example, in addition to setting up my home security system, Darren helped set up our doorbell camera and even attempted to help install smart locks throughout my home. In spite of what they told me two months before upon an inquiry I made. Instead they continued to debit my account. There is no way to stop it from your bank. Be aware of the scam and of their lies. When I cancelled with a form that I have to fill out, there was no acknowledgement. They still debited my bank account. They argued that there was a 3 days cancellation policy; this 3 months after my 3 year contract has ended. I have to yell for them to promise a refund for only 1 month. I am holding my breath. If this goes on, I will take them to court.
