I didn't touch the dried egg lol Great noodles though. 1/5 Lanzhou Beef Special - Interesting spices, not spicy enough though, and I'm not a fan of dry style meats, though at least it wasn't as dry as the soup version. (my stoned friend thought it melted in his mouth and loved it). All the seasonings wash off when mixed into the soups, leaving the meat very bare tasting so i'm guessing it's not marinated for long as it hasn't soaked through, but helps give their broth a little more flavour. 3/5 Plenty of leftovers so I'm just gonna use all the broths as a base to make REAL soup or sauces at home and put those nice noodles and cubed beef to some good use. If I were to order again, I would just stick to the Braised Beef Noodles and use my own hot oil and veggies or turn it into a spicy stir fry. I am never... ever taking food advice from a stoner again... he enjoyed everything he tried on this menu as if it was something spectacular. There is ample parking as they have there own parking lot and there is also a bus stop a few meters down the street. The restaurant is a small quite place and has about 15 tables insides. The menu is down all online as well as the ordering process. The staff was friendly and was able to explain everything properly. We stated off with some vegetable that we grilled. The vegetables were raw and unseasoned. We had the following vegetables. Onions and zucchini and mushrooms. We grilled them and we had to dip them in the sauces to add flavor. For the meats. Short ribs were extremely fatty and chewy and the seasoning was bland. Short ribs on no bone Was very fatty and chewy and the way it was cut was like it was cut by hand not even made it hard to grill. Ox tongue Had same seasoning as the short ribs. Not much flavor in the sauce. It was ok nothing special. Pork belly Was cut so small made it hard to grill properly. No seasoning on the pork belly. Pineapple Was fresh and not canned and we grilled it as well. It's a nice place but with a few improvements it can be a winner.
