Best bagels around!

Stopped based on yelp reviews. Normally go to G&A in butler. Have to say this place was pretty good. Handful of young women working, seemed to work great together so even when there's a line you move right thru. My wife said it was the best veggie cream cheese she has had. Very busy Bagel shop.. Cash only and they have lots of other items to choose from. I ordered my Saturday fix of Taylor Ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Pretty good - but they can put a bit more ham on the sandwich in my opinion... My wife ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese and the cream cheese was described by her as "Frothy".. And I guess that's her way to say it was very very soft. read more

Let's make something clear, these are MONSTER bagels. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and it has never changed. They have definitely perfected the art of making bagels. They're so thick, soft and chewy on the inside yet crunchy on the out. If you really want the perfect bagel, you have to try this place. Get there early and grab an egg cheese on a warm freshly baked bagel. My mouth is seriously watering just writing this.. Too bad they're not open at night :D read more

These bagels are simply just too big. It took me nearly eight days to eat just one of their everything bagels. I like to parcel them up and eat them like a squirrel. Also cash only? Just moved to Pequannock from Teaneck and I was searching for a good bagel place and one of the first ones I have tried since coming here is KC's which are fantastic. A nice "heavy" bagel - where a sandwich on one will do you good. Nice and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. And the girls who work there are always so very friendly and nice to me. Even if there is a line when you come in, it goes fast, so dont let that stop you from getting one of the better bagels around. read more

Not sure who is reviewing this place with 5*??? Unless they're old? I went there about 5 days ago and first impression was no impression definitely needs a faceLift. I looked at bagels and thought wow they're really fat!! ShOuld have walked out but.... so I bought 6 and a toasted with butter everything! Well I gotta tell thE trUth no taste! Excellent bagels. My girlfriend is from Pompton Plains and raved about them. I have been here about 3 times and have enjoyed everything I had here. Most recently I had a bagel flat with Taylor ham. The flats have less bread than the standard bagel so it makes you feel less guilty! The flats are also easy to eat if you're on the go. read more

Been coming here for Bagels since the late 80's. If you love a fluffy fresh bagel this is the best place in the area. There are enough variety to choose from but it does have a limited amount of spreads. If you are a bagel snob that requires an organic gluten fat free type of spread this may not be for you. Come here for the bagels, breakfast sandwiches are not bad but they use a convection oven for most of the stuff. 5 stars for the bagels and go early to get the warm ones, pair it off with cup of java at Dunkin' Donuts drive thru 3 mins down the highway before the U-turn read more

Excellent Bagels!. More of an old fashioned bagel; smaller than the "rolls with holes" many bagel places are foisting off on people. Crusty and chewy as a bagel should be, dense and delicious. The prices are very good, perhaps reflecting the slightly smaller size of the bagels (?) a bagel with cream cheese is $1.60 vs $2.10 and up at most other local places. The bagels are made on premises, unlike many of the local places that are no buying their bagels from large bakeries. The staff is pleasant, the service prompt. Today I picked up our weekend breakfast bagels. 1 dozen bagels, cream cheese and lox. Excellent breakfast. Worth the extra distance for me to travel. Only two knocks: they don't have whitefish spread (very disappointed) and They don't' take any form of credit cards. Otherwise? a great old style bagel joint. read more

Stopped here the other day before going to get my car serviced and the workers are so nice which makes your visit that much better. I've been coming to this deli my entire life and always had excellent service. Went in today for a THEC on a bagel and a THEC double Taylor ham and double egg on a bagel, total came to 12.55 and did not receive the double meat and egg that I was charged for. KC's has excellent bagels, they have a sweet flavor. Here and Bagel loops has the best TEC. ...but if you place a pickup order over the phone, expect it to be messed up. Either no ketchup, or "lost" orders, or they don't even answer. It is what it is, but we live with it. read more

Our relatives took us here last weekend and this place is AWESOME! The bagels are freshly made and made in water. They put Noah's bagels to shame. The staff was friendly and the place was crowded so you know it's a good place! They even had these big flat bagels which were equally delightful. If you are around here, go get a bagel! Walked in and ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. This is life. We don't have bagels like this in PA. Is it the water? Is it the process? Who knows... I requested 2 dozen everything bagels and the gentleman said he'd make them fresh, so I ordered 3 dozen. I am so excited to bring these back to Pittsburgh with me and share them with everyone I know. I have lived in the area for 40+ years and have been to most every bagel store in the area and have never found anything I enjoyed more than K C Bagels. Because of the turnover, the product is always fresh.They make a great bacon egg and cheese bagel for breakfast, as well as having a daily special bagel lunch item. read more

KCs hands down is the place for bagels in Morris County. Never disappoints. They make a bagel the right way dropping it in boiling water to give it the hard shell outside yet keep the inside light and tasty. Pleasant kid workers no matter how early it is or how tired they are from the night before. Great sandwiches and fresh spreads. KCs is the go-to for bagels. No happy at all both orders were made wrong. Coffee tasted bitter. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese with lettuce and tomato waited 15mins sausage was over cooked on both sandwiches .. they do not have a flat top the do it in oven which take twice as long. Never saw a deli that doesn't doesn't have Spinach till today. I came here the first time it was very good but very disappointed how it's quality food has changed. Will not be back. KC's makes the best bagels in the area. They also make the best ham salad around. When my 95 year old mother loses her appetite for most things, I call KC's and they make a batch for her. They are so kind and accommodating and I am so appreciative because it always perks my mom up. They also make delicious egg and cheese sandwiches. I'm not sure what makes them so much better than the ample competition in the area, but take my word- they are amazing and fairly priced. Stop by and enjoy a great breakfast, lunch or snack - just be sure to get there before they close at 3pm so you're not disappointed! read more

Now I've been going to this place for YEARS, and today I just had to write a review... It's going down hill really quick. FIRST... Never order their coffee. It's the absolute worst mud water. They run the water through at least twice, and I've seen workers pour decaf into the regular. The high school kids working there, roll their eyes at each other like its no ones business. Asked if they could check the back for a bagel they ran out of, and it was the end of their world. Last, their bagels. THE BEST. Except everything / flat everything. Their regular everything have zero to no seeds, just get a plain. The flat sell out constantly and they refuse to make more for that demand. If you have any concerns, don't bother telling management.
