Just sayin. This is 2016, Last HPM on same property was 1993 so 23yrs not too shabby, and maybe a few years over due, but it's not 35. HPM, please revise your statements to be realistic. Twenty years isn't bad for what some call "tin" roof -but at best it's 20- not 35. Hawaiis growing again. Newcomers moving from homes with ceramic, tar shingle and other products unfamiliar with Hawaiis "tin roof houses".

Later they issued the credit, but I should never have been billed for something they didn't have. Yes I got a credit, but if for some reason I cannot pay it off by the time the 0% financing ends, I will be charged finance charges for an item that they could not even supply me with. This to me seems illegal and at the very least, unfair business practices. Their credit card is always quirky and I have had to spend too much time trying to straighten things out. In addition, most of the employees stand around talking and texting and very few actually help you when you ask for it.

I didn't have any luck explaining i wanted a single sheet of 5/8 CDX and cut it in four 24" x 48" pieces. All I needed was one lumber person, but none were inside or outside. It was worth the drive to Kona. Home Depot had excellent service. A lumber man saw I was having difficulty loading a couple sheets onto the cart (I am weaker than a new born pup after battling Cancer for a year.). He cut them in no time at all.! The lower prices covered the cost of gas there and back. I hope they take this to heart and train their people better.
