The end result is the perfect seasonal parklet that's perfectly fitting in the time of East Passyunk's restaurant renaissance, and you'll almost always see a few South Philly characters taking it all in. While the Fountain is always the perfect spot to kick back and relax to a good book, It also see's it's share of action including the Wednesday Farmer's Market, holiday activities once the fountain gets transformed into a "Christmas tree", and a dj/music station during all of East Passyunk Ave's street festivals.

I'm usually not a fan of sesame seed rolls, but the flavors of the meat and toppings balances everything out perfectly. I also picked up some banana pudding from Sweet Nina's, and it was yummy! In any case, it doesn't take too long to do all fifty floors. Most folks finished in less than ten minutes. There was quite a crowd; we even saw Mayor Nutter. All proceeds benefit the American Lung Association. Can't wait for 2011's Stair Climb!

This is the best hands down meatball sandwich I ever had. Everything was on point. Meatball itself was not mealy or super dense, just the perfect bite. The port 'o potty situation was surprisingly great. We never waited behind more than three people even though they seemed a little sparse. The crowds are insane. Tip: do not bring your dogs or strollers to this event. You'll just end up carrying babies and dogs due to the crowds. Night market gathers the best and most diverse group of Philly food trucks in one place I've ever seen, so despite the horrific crowds, you'll see me at these events again!
