I kinda knew I wanted a smaller dog so that my neurotic pet wouldn't feel displaced or inferior to a larger dog. Soooo....off to the internet I go. I was going from site to site just wandering when I came upon Carole's Cowdogs Toy and Mini Aussies. I was blown away that there even WAS toy and minis in my favorite breed. She had one puppy left of her litter and my heart tugged when I saw his pictures. So tiny but you could see pride in his eyes. I didn't really want a breeder outside of New England so I kept on trying to find another breeder...but I kept on going back to this one. I was hooked...I just had to admit it to myself. I contacted Carole and she was so super nice and helpful that it only took 2 days before I contacted her again and told her we would drive down to pick him up on Mother's Day. Mandah was the best!! She was just as excited to go with me as I wanted her to go! We even talked Joey into going!! GO FIGURE!!!!! After 7 hours, we got to Carole's farm and we met Hoagie (Joey named him btw). His living quarters were super clean, fresh and new looking. Carole's was great! She gave us his lineage all the way to his great granparents and a cute little collar.She even gave us his second puppy shot to take with us. If I ever want another puppy, I will make sure I call her first before anyone else. Top notch pups and a top notch lady! Thanks Carole!!!!

I was too scared I'd mess it up and hurt him, so I called Jacob. 30 minutes later - Jacob to the rescue! It was the most positive experience. Hedgehogs typically only warm up to the person who handles them regularly. Jacob won him over immediately with his kindness and patience. Cannot thank Jacob enough for such a positive experience. It may seem like a small thing, but it really meant the world to our family.
