I just had the pleasure of dining in a friend's private birthday event and am so sad it's over! Absolutely incredible! I didn't realize food could taste that good. Who knew salads could be more than just boring lettuce!? I'm talking fresh watermelon, burrata, beets, grilled peaches, watermelon radishes, and balsamic. What!? The last time I ate something so colorful (willingly) was a bag of skittles. You have no idea. Un-freaking-believable. And then the actual dinner came. Bok choy, seared ahi, and some kind of buttery sauce that was made from angel's tears. Or maybe unicorn sweat? I don't know, but it was a smooth, silky realization that I have no skill in the kitchen. At least not in comparison. No matter what the occasion, I will forever hire RJ Gourmet Maui. Seriously.
