The server had to ask the owner/cook as they had a $3 up charge. The owner refused my request. He had stated to the server that it was 'the law' being a former restaurant owner and knowing a thing or two, I knew the response was ridiculous and most of all lazy and closed minded. Not a great way to inspire a return visit. Owner in dire need to give his head a shake. Unlikely to return.
