The land is uniquely private. The entrance so obscure that you will drive by and miss it except for a Welcome sign on wedding days. This is a good thing to keep your event private and to maximize the space. Once you enter from the street the wedding names will be on a sign with the cottage in the background. You will head down a one car driveway to the back and park in a gravel parking lot. The back lawn is a front to a creek and lots of trees. Wedding ceremonies often take place here. When you are on the grounds you cannot see the surrounding farm, the vegetable market or anything else in most places. Moving toward the cottage is the pot o potty for guests & staff (construction style!!!) , the parking lot and then large tent. Walk through another area of grass. Next is another smaller tent outside the cottage and a couple of grass lawns. Again, tents may vary due to time of year etc. They usual house the DJ and dance floor for your event or it could house the tables and chairs and dance floor. The trees and shrubbery, again, are so pretty. The little pond is also good looking. Weddings are so different depending especially on your wedding coordinator and also the vendors you hire. Pay special attention to where the sun is depending on your time of day & time of year and plan the set up of chairs, tables, eating areas not to mention the flowers accordingly.The ceremony and eating is often set up in the sun so be aware depending on the time of year. Make sure to remember to think of your guests and warn them of the need to wear flat shoes or chunk heels or wedges to traverse the grounds parking lot and porta potty. Let them know if you will let them in the cottage to use the restroom or to get out of the sun or if it is off limits. Again, the wedding coordinator may make this decision but be aware it alters the guest experience. Their website shows a plethora of photos of the grounds so check it out for an idea of offerings and other events. But they don't do it justice. It is more beautiful in person. The look of the event and pictures are dependent on what you choose catering wise, coordinator wise, clothing wise and whom your vendor is for supplies. It can be as informal or formal as you wish. The sky is the limit. The Cottage at Riverbend gets 5 stars for just the gorgeous, serene, enchanting outdoor space that it is to hold your wedding or event. There are plenty of areas for guests and wedding party to roam and lots of greenery for pictures to be taken with. Lots of memories to be made here

When I entered my room, I felt a puff of hot air. So, I looked at the thermostat and it was 80°F. Then, I noticed that it was set to HEAT. Hmm, housekeeping has lost their marbles in the head or just simply incompetent. In this age of giant layoffs in 2026, someone needs to bee fired. The layout of the building is too weird and complicated. The building has an arch and when you get out of the elevators after a couple of turns, you have no idea what the orientations are towards the parking lot. Anyway, I eventually found it and get to see my car from the windows. EV Charger: none whatsoever. They need to install some. The nearest Tesla supercharger is about 4 miles away. Installing a few Level 2 chargers managed by Tesla would be ideal; or better still, make it free.

Nancy, the breakfast attendant, was so sweet and friendly. She always had a smile on her face and made us feel right at home. And this shop is right down the road from me? This sounds convenient and great! Walking in I didn't know what to expect. As soon as you walk in, you see a fun play area for the kiddos. I was patiently waiting to get greeted as I didn't want to interrupt a full conversation they were having with another guest. The gal behind the register seemed new. I got my drink ordered with her and checked out the joint while it was getting made. Not gonna lie, this concept is dope. A big play area that your little one can play in while you're enjoying your coffee. There's books, toys, a small play house with a slide. I did notice a baby who was about 1 playing with a squishy rocking horse. He was really enjoying himself. The floors are also padded so it creates a nice cushion for your kiddos. I would bring my kid here to play while I get some chill time and be able to enjoy a drink. You can't completely take your eyes off of them. The walls for the enclosure is kinda high and you can't see what they are doing if you're sitting at one of the tables. My drink finally got finished. Their small drinks are 16 oz. I was worried that my drink would be watered down cause of the extra 4 oz. Some joints fill the 4 extra oz with water which defeats the whole purpose of getting an americano. But surprisingly it wasn't. The espresso was very noticeable. The sugar free vanilla and cream was all balanced in my drink. I really enjoyed it! I don't have kids in this age group to really use this joint for what is used for but the coffee was good! And they serve food and baked goodies here. It's great that this place is conveniently down the road from me. It great to have another local joint I can go to and support for my daily caffeinated beverage.
