I ultimately had the toilet valve replaced because I need the water turned off to get the toilet out. The shutoff valve was $6 part and the entire job was done in under THREE MINUTES. $261 dollars. I needed a plumbing job and ultimately decided to do it myself because this company was WAY too outrageous with prices. A $6 parts and 1/4 of an hour. Like that's over $1,000 dollars an hour for labor. PLEASE FIND SOMEONE ELSE, DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! I was able to complete this entire job for under $60 and have a very bad taste in my mouth from this company!

I also retired after 27yrs of in home sales and service. "SO PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW TO HEART." We had a leaky right "hot" side tub knob. So we called Kennedy plumbing. They said they had a guy one job out and could show up within the hour. Good right?? Ok. Guy comes to the door, and another fella follows him in. First guy was the lead tech I'm guessing. Second guy stood in our dining room telling us he just got out of prison, and seemed half baked on drugs. Shortly after the odd conversation with guy #2.. the other guy comes out and says, "Easy fix. I have to run and grab a washer for that hot side. It'll stop the leak". They leave and return. Takes him about tops, 5 minutes and he comes to our kitchen with his clip board and the bill for $275. Money wasn't the problem. We knew no matter what it was going to be costly do to inflation. They leave ok. My wife takes a good bath and soaks because she has lupus. After she was done she brought me to the bathroom to show me that the hot knob to the tub faucet was leaking even worst than before. So I call the # on Google again and it went to the tech directly. He tells me sorry it must have been put on wrong and is bulging. The following week he came back to our home. Looked at it and said, let me stack another washer on there. Took about... 10 minutes tops. He charges another $95 service charge. I wasn't too fond of that. Paid anyway, as long as it was fine. I tested it, everything looked OK. Later that night once more we hear a loud drip in the bathroom. Check it out and there it was. Leaking even worst than the 1st and 2nd time. I can't make this up. I call him one more time. He's nice and say no problem. He'd be out the next day. Next day nothing. We call.... no answer. Two weeks go by and finally we get the number to the man that owns the company with his wife Jane Kennedy. My wife is a sweet lady. Soft spoken. Anyway she addressed the issue and explained everything in a soft manner. The owner returned with a loud, "ABSOLUTELY NOT. We will not come back out to your house" our men are paid commission. I told him we'd already paid over $350 for 30 minutes of useless service and 2 little rubber rings. He say "I could call someone else and go to hell". And hung up on me. I could not believe what i had just heard. PLEASE HEAR MY ADVICE. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They are crooked as a barrel of fish hooks. Again... I've never given anything but 5 star ratings. Was told absolutely. It's 1:05pm and still no tech. Called and now being told it's been rescheduled for two days out. No phone, no text. Just 5 hours of wasted time. The initial two technicians who came were very nice, very honest and gave us a fair price for the repair. All that remained was for a person to come and complete the tile work. We were promised and set up an appointment days in advance to have the technician come at 8 AM. I received a call about 10 AM saying they had had a problem with the truck and had to take it back for repair. Understandable. However, at 1 PM still no one had come and no one had called. When my wife called to check, someone said that they had come to the gate of our gated community and did not receive any notice so they went away. They did not try to call me, the gate automatically caused my phone. Being in the hospital, I had nothing to do but answer a phone.. They did not try to call my wife. I am in the hospital having to deal with this stress. I had canceled my subscription with Lee Company once before, due to a concern over high pricing of parts that could be found at 1/3 the price.. This company, and these technicians knew of the predicament my wife and I were in. They did little to make things right. Consequently, the technician is now supposed to come the next day. Never mind that my wife had rearranged her life so that she could come tend to me at the hospital but other things as well so that she could be present when they arrived. This is typical of a fly-by-night company not someone with the reputation that Lee Company supposedly enjoys. Even if you reconfirm appointments, sometimes they don't come and they don't call.
