K9 Kampus is thorough from having a pet temperment evaluation, informing pet parents of their strict guidelines and making sure the required documentation is notated. A complete tour of the facility is given and the routine and schedule was thoroughly explained. During which time I noticed the diligence of staff to clean hygienically often. The staff's dedication and committment to the quality of care given to their job and pets is amazing. Because of this its easy to see why this facility has earned the rewards and recognition its received at various levels. All of the staff that we have dealt with are patient, understanding and quick to resolve any concerns (mine have been primarily only with computer issues) The reservation and boarding process is straight forward and easy to do. K9 Kampus offers many options for your pet from hygiene, exercise and activities. In my opinion even those offered at an additional expense are reasonable priced as I am a retiree and on a fixed income; it allows me to choose within my budget. Originally when I needed to board my dog Fenway, I was absolutely devastated that I would have to leave him overnight with strangers. Somewhere, not as comfortable as home. But I was wrong, prior to being able to board your dog at K9 kampus your dog has to complete two days of daycare prior to being boarded. The second day of daycare fenway forgot who I was and didn't look back as he ran through the gates to see his friends. He has had the time of his life at daycare. I work from home and have no need to bring Fenway to daycare however, Fenway mopes around the house, on days I do not bring him to go see his friends at K9 Kampus. Not only is he friends with other dogs that frequent the facility also, all of the workers are kind and Fenway loves everybody. This definitely puts me at ease as Fenway is part of our family and we would be devastated if anything ever happened to him. Most recently Fenway was boarded for 8 days, the staff was very prompt on contacting me to address any potential issues. I highly recommend this place and I am thankful to have stumbled upon it. read more

On the morning of October 6th, I received a phone call at 6 am from a person (of whom I made previous arrangements with to watch my dog, Kuss during the storm) informing me she was not going to be able to watch Kuss. After receiving the news, I called K9 Kampus and was told not to worry, bring Kuss in with her food and water. That was a big relief knowing I would get to work and she would be safe. Well, after the storm I received a phone call informing me of an emergency out of town. I called K9 Kampus and asked if I could impose on them again. K9 Kampus told me not to worry Kuss could stay and that she did great during the storm. Never would I have imagined or thought that K9 Kampus would be able to help me in need. Not only last minute but also for the 2 incidents happening back to back. My story has been shared with coworkers at the hospital and friends as I am very thankful for their presence and service. My dog has been attending daycare, grooming, boarding, and training at K9 Kampus since I adopted her at 3 months old, and she's now going on 8 years old. She is always happy and tired when I get her home, and always excited when we pull in and even more so when she sees the staff. The staff are great and friendly and know her by name. They are prompt to inform me of any issues with her. I always feel safe leaving her for any services. The inground pool is one of her favorite activities, as well as the lure course! I will always recommend K9 Kampus to anyone. There are many suite sizes with cameras, which I always use when I board her. I'm picky with nails trims and want them rounded down short as possible with no sharp edges as my mom has sensitive skin and her pawing causes bruising and cuts easily on my mom. The groomer and grooming assistant always get them done perfectly! The training classes were great, and we both learned a lot, which turned my jumping, pulling, food plate diving puppy into the great dog she is now. read more

I've been a regular customer of K-9 Kampus for over 3 years. I initially went through the puppy/ dog training classes for beginners and novices. Though I've been around dogs for almost 60 years, there's always something to learn. I was not disappointed! Darlene was very professional and patient. I've since then moved into regular grooming for not just one rescue German shepherd but, two (I don't know who rescued who)! Was very impressed with Paige! All the staff are very professional and enjoy what they do. You can tell by their interactions with the dogs. My dogs are family! I don't just trust them with anyone or some self proclaimed professional. K-9 Kampus staff have earned my trust! Their customer service and interaction is a lost art in today's society. I don't usually write reviews - but when the service is so exceptional and the results so life-changing how could I not? Atlas just completed his AKC Star Puppy training and the changes in his attentiveness, follow-through, and overall happiness is amazing. Darlene, Atlas's trainer, loves what she does and it shows in every aspect of her training techniques. She is as concerned about your dog's progress and well-being outside of class as she is when he is in class. Darlene balances a group setting with several dogs with personalized care for each attendee. Simply grateful beyond words. My name is Brumus. I am eight and have been visiting K9 Kampus since I was a puppy. Overnights weren't my favorite times but I had great accommodations and attention from the staff. I even got to show my humans my displeasure on camera. I loved the pool time and lure. I don't attend daycare any longer because I now work from home, but I still visit Page for a grooming session every four weeks. She gives a great bath and even uses my special shampoo. She discovered a lesion on my side during one of my sessions and that provided for a visit with my other favorite folks at the Vet. I love you, Page. You make me look and feel like a million. Bluey has been a day care dog for several days to get him ready for boarding. The staff are great and work well with the dogs. Whenever we picked Bluey up it was evident that the dogs were being tended to. Bluey had a few behavior issues when he first started that were recognized and dealt with in a professional manner. He has just finished his 3 days of boarding. He had a room with a camera and we could see him during the night. This was reassuring for us. He was happy and freshly bathed when we picked him up. My dog Ivy absolutely loves K9 Kampus. As soon as she sees the building, she turns into a wiggling machine. She absolutely loves the lure and the pool, and she comes home exhausted and happy every time she goes. The staff is kind and always remembers Ivy's name. I'm thankful they have pickup until 5:45 as I don't get off work until 5:30. I like that they offer a discount when booking online and when Ivy was going very frequently, the bundle discounts were incredibly helpful. I love that the pool is offered with daycare a couple days a week and that they have so many options to exercise and entertain my girl. Highly recommend! read more

I boarded my dog at K9 Kampus in Melbourne over the Labor Day weekend and couldn't be happier with the experience! They were able to accommodate us last minute, which was a huge relief. The facility is clean, professional, and clearly run by people who love dogs. My pup had an amazing time--she played, made new friends, and best of all, they threw her a birthday party since she turned 1 while I was out of town! Cake, ice cream, and tail wags all around. K9 Kampus is a wonderful Doggie DayCare!!! The staff is GREAT and they love all the animals. My dog has been doing there since I adopted him three years ago and my family even adopted a dog that K9 was fostering for the local shelter. They really care about the animals and do several fundraisers for the shelters every year. I appreciate everything about the facility and 100% trust my pets there. Wondeful staff, friendly, knowledgable. Adequately staffed and all seem to truly enjoy being around animals. My 13+ year old (new to day care) cocker Spaniel was comfortable and relaxed there. He was a little nervouse on the 2nd visit and today he walked right in tail wagging! They were very thorough on the evaluation and I felt that they were concerned for the welfare of not only my pet but his interactions with the other pets. They listened to my concerns due to his age. Oreo misses going to k9. She misses all of her friends. She is doing ok. Not eating alot though but she eats when she wants to. I hope one day she can come back to daycare and see her friends. Scooby looks forward to his time at Kamp. He gets really excited when his leash which we refer to as his uniform comes out of the closet. He is warmly greeted when we arrive. Everyone is so open, friendly and relaxed - they look like they all, 2 and 4 legged, are enjoying themselves. It's a positive and safe opportunity for dogs to socialize. Took my small, sleak Italian greyhound 3 days this week. I was a little nervous because he is so small but he did great playing with the other dogs. He cant wait to come back. This is the perfect place to go for dog training. The indoor arena makes it easy for you and your dog to focus. The trainer (Darlene) is patient, calm, and concise. Once you're into the novice class, you can take as many classes as you feel is necessary, which accommodates all learning abilities.
