He passed his meet and greet (9/3) and the we took him to daycare Tuesday and Thursday (9/8 & 9/11). The staff told us how much they loved Rocco, how he was very friendly and adapting quickly. **Preface: our dog has never had any skin issues in the 3 months we've had him** We noticed on 9/9 he had a patch of scabs on the back of his neck, but didn't think anything of it because he runs through fields and likes to play in the bushes. We then boarded him over this past weekend because we were getting married and didn't want to leave him locked up in a hotel room all weekend. We now wish that's what we would've done. 30 minutes before picking up our baby this morning, my husband received the text in the picture from a staff member. We were assured everything was fine and there was nothing else to be concerned about because he was doing better. As you can clearly see in these photos, there is still blood and a gaping wound in our dogs neck. The lack of transparency and compassion for our dog is absolutely ridiculous. They couldn't even be bothered to wipe the blood of his neck. We are unsure how he got this wound, but quite frankly it doesn't even matter because we can't trust Dogtopia to be truthful about it. Safe to say we will NEVER bring Rocco back.

When we went to visit , they didn't show us the areas where they played and never let us see on video their room where they go in crates! We brought food for our dog knowing that he is a fussy and eats only in the Evening when he chooses! They always brought an empty food bowl and said that he ate it all, I really thought that they were lying and told them that he never eats lunch. He continued his dinnertime routine, and the days that he was home, tried to feed him Lunch and he would not even sniff it! He would go in and was excited and when we picked him up, he was excited to see us, too. He was only there for about 2 months and we then went back to our home state. It bothered me that he was peeing inside only on the turf and walking around on wet turf which was mopped up. That always bothered me and it actually pretty gross! We had a person come over for a couple of. nights instead of bringing him there where we would not know if he really ate. The lady who came had previously worked there and told us that she would not put her dog there due to never going outside, peeing and poop inside and no windows what so ever! I decided that I would have to spend more time and check the reviews out much more carefully for this year! They take your money out from the credit card that they keep on File. You are required to give a 2 week notice when your dog is leaving and we did that. Looking at my bank states about 2 months later, I saw that they had removed money for the month that we. were not even in Florida. I called and told them and they said that a manager, Amy would take care of that and call me back. I had to call numerous times to finally have her call me. She must have hoped that I would go away! When she called, she argued about the extra money she had removed from my account, saying that was what we owed, and she could put 10.00 back on my card. I was ver upset about her dishonesty and she told me that when we return this Winter, Romeo could come for the first week every day that we wanted to bring him! I said fine and gave up. I do not recommend taking your Dog there as I no longer trust them, in any way.

We have boarded her at her vets office for our past 3 trips and have come back to bleeding paws and a severely agitated dog. But at Barkingham, she was treated like a queen. And this is their normal routine. They took such great care of our baby. We were able to look in on her with the camera system in her room. Everything was super clean. Bella usually doesn't like other dogs but they got her playing with other Shepherds, which we were extremely happy to hear. The thing about when we picked her up, she was really happy, not just to see us, it was almost like she didn't want to leave her new friends! She got a bath as well and we noticed the beautiful job they did with the grooming. Everything about Barkingham was amazing and I would never think of bringing my dog anywhere else. They don't just treat them like dogs, they treat them like family

I was so worried that I took her to my vet and, while her eyes had no cuts, the vet doctor said that eye was irritated. They did not take good care of my dog. I called the owner, and he denied that she was not well taken care of and I mentioned her eyes. I will never take my dog to them again. There is not excuse for this kind of neglect.

I have been brining my dog and cat (cat off and on when I go out of town) for over two years now. I can recall a time when my dog who is currently 11 was having tummy issues, turns out he has pancreatitis. Had an accident while at day care (he goes daily while I work) he had rice earlier that morning which made it look like worms. Tony called every number listed trying to get ahold of me and even called my mother who is also a client to track me down. He was so worried about my little guy he was getting ready to take him to the vet. Luckily I told Tony it was just rice so to keep an eye on him they had my little guy stay up front with them (with my permission of course). This morning was cold, rare for Florida causing my little guys arthritis to bother him, so they carried him back and kept a watchful eye on him and said if he was having problems, they would put him in a separate area so it didn't get aggravated further. Luckily, he was fine and played with all his friends. Every morning my dog gets so excited to go today care he does a "Happy Howl" as soon as we pull into the parking lot. When he sees Tony and Yolanda getting out of their car, he does another "Happy Howl" he absolutely loves them and going to Preppy Pet. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them 10 Stars I would! :)

Recently my new kitten, that they had never even seen as a patient yet, was seriously injured in a freak and very tragic accident. I rushed him in, knowing that they aren't even an emergency Vet. They immediately took him back. They tried everything. Including, but not limited to, intubating him. Sadly, by the time we got him to them he was too far gone and despite their heroic efforts his little heart just couldn't handle the trauma and he passed on. I can't say enough good things about how they handled it though. I know they went above and beyond for him even though they're likely not equipped for most emergencies. I suspect most primary Vets aren't. I am very grateful for their efforts and intend to remain a loyal client for the rest of my life. I can't imagine that most non-emergency vets would do something like that. They will. Highly recommend.

I asked why it was much more than what I was quoted over the phone. I was told it must have been quoted in error and that was the cost. I called the next day to ask the office manager about the error and to see if the doctor would provide a courtesy credit on my account. I felt like that would be a reasonable solution. The next thing I know I receive a letter in the mail from the doctor with a $20 check and him telling me I am an unappreciative client and that I'm no longer welcome at his practice. Very strange!
