I rescued my dog through Big Hair Animal Rescue and Tiffany was his foster, when I went to visit she had multiple pups under her loving and attentive care. The outdoor area where the dogs get to play was well taken care of and clean, the indoor area where they stay was a safe and also clean area with ample room for all of the dogs to also play but also all had their own spaces to be in when needed. Tiffany went above and beyond on my visit to let me know everything about my dog and truly gets to know each one of her fosters and loves them as her own. She even has let me reach out to her concerning any questions I had about my pup and offered me to bring him back any time for boarding or training. Her and the Big Hair Rescue team TRULY care about your pup as well as the family who adopts them and is there any time you need something. I HIGHLY recommend her for fostering, boarding or training. And as for the negative review someone wrote I strongly recommend disregarding that because she keeps everything clean and safe for the dogs as well as the family's going there to do meet & greets and etc!

Our consult was with Nance, and she was very patient in explaining the process and talking us through some initial things that we were struggling with. Then, we started with a training package that included 3 private training classes and 2 months of group obedience classes. We also went to a few puppy kindergarten classes. Nicole did the majority of our trainings and she has been a god-sent. She is very good with the dogs, and her energy level makes the training classes fun both for us and our dog. We learned a lot from Nicole and she helped us to feel a lot less stressed out and actually enjoy the puppyhood. The obedience class is set up like a monthly subscription, where you can go to as many classes as you want. We end up going about 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes, as it is a great activity to mentally exercise our dog and provide socialization while working alongside other dogs. We also started bringing our dog to their dog day camp 2x a week. Tim was also very patient in explaining the process. The dog day camp has been great in getting her to play with other dogs and allows her to learn obedience from others aside from us.

It's remarkable to see the progress that they make with her and how much they enjoy their training sessions! Nance adapts her training sessions to the needs of the individual dog and she is quick to assess how they learn best. She is always patient, kind, and encouraging. We are so lucky to have her expertise, she has changed the lives of so many dogs!

We recently adopted a new puppy (Nala) to keep our 3 year old Golden doodle (Augie) company…read more Although the two dogs are siblings from different litters, they didn't immediately take to being together. Unlike Augie, who was always sweet and extremely mellow even as a puppy, Nala bit us in the face, barked, destroyed things in our home and terrorized Augie to the extent that he would run away from her. We weren't sure we could keep her because she was so badly behaved and seemed untrainable. In the span of 3 weeks, David transformed Nala from a challenging puppy into a dream puppy. She obeys all the commands, walks off leash in our wooded neighborhood, sleeps hours later than when she left and most importantly she is able to play well with Augie who now seeks her out and willingly allows her even to sleep in his own bed. David sent dozens of videos so we could watch her while she was in training and learn the language she was learning from David. He kept in contact and was even able to drop her off and meet our other dog for a walk with Nala. Without Massachusetts Dog Training, we would likely have given our wonderful puppy away and never realized what a gem we had. David helped to uncover Nala's true potential and helped us to realize how smart, sweet and special she is. We will be forever grateful for his wisdom, expertise and love for our Nala.

On the very first day with David, he was already playing calmly with other dogs, something I never thought I'd see. David kept me updated every step of the way, sending daily videos that showed my dog's progress, which gave me so much peace of mind. When he came home, he could finally walk on a leash without pulling (a major win for a husky owner!) and he no longer jumps on guests the second they walk in the door. Now, he greets people calmly and listens better than ever. It honestly feels like I have a brand new dog. He is happier, more obedient, and much more social. I'm beyond grateful for David's help and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, compassionate, and highly effective dog trainer. He truly works wonders!

After being a loyal client for about a year, I emailed Leslie, the business owner, to inform her…read morethat I was moving, giving her my new address, and requesting that she let me know if she'd be able to continue including my dog in her hiking service from the new address. She did not respond and when she came to pick up my dog for a scheduled and prepaid hike two days later, she called me at work. Almost as soon as I picked up, Leslie began a harangue of verbal abuse. Apparently she had taken my message as an attempt to immediately cancel all services, which it was not. Instead of allowing me to clarify or get a word in at all, Leslie yelled at me for the duration of two phone calls, hung up on me, and refused to listen to my voicemail. Her behavior was borderline unhinged. She turned a misunderstanding on her part into a verbal assault and complete severance of our contract. This episode was extreme enough that I would no longer trust her with my dog or as a reasonable person with whom to conduct any sort of business.

Sydney is so excited to see her every day and comes home ready for a nap. Sydney has lots of energy and goes out on trail runs daily with small groups of other dogs. Leslie and her staff are extremely reliable. We trust her with our fur baby and coming into our home every day. They never miss a day regardless of weather or whatever. Totally reliable!! She truly loves caring for and exercising the dogs. She is a pleasure to communicate with and will always accommodate me if there is a special circumstance. I would highly recommend Doggonerunnin, Leslie and her team for exercising and socializing your pets. Marianne~Sudbury
