The staff at Four Paws are true professionals; perhaps even more importantly, they are true dog lovers who are caring, patient, and kind. My sweet pup Freddie is a sensitive little guy who takes a while to warm up to other people, and the Doggy Daycare staff have been absolute angels with him. They truly go the extra mile, even giving Freddie one-on-one time until he got more comfortable with them. I trust them with Freddie implicitly, and he's always ecstatic to get out of the car and into daycare in the morning, which I never thought I'd be able to say. I couldn't be more grateful, and neither could Freddie! (For anyone with COVID-19 concerns, they are taking all the precautions--wearing masks, social distancing, etc. They have each owner wait in their car and call the front office for drop-off to avoid any gatherings.) Excellent grooming! My dog hated getting groomed. The second time I brought him to Four Paws, I wasn't moving fast enough for him to get inside. They were also wonderful when I suddenly had to put him down in January when he was 17 and cancer was found. I'll be calling to book an appointment for my new young rescue soon. read more

Used to love this place. Now down to one groomer. That would be ok if the dogs were groomed at their so called appointment time. Was scheduled for 11 am brought my two dogs in on time. Called at 5 concerned I had to rush to get them before close and was told they were just on the table. Showed up at 5:15 and both were done. Hmmm. 6 hours in a cage and 15 minutes to groom 2 shitzu. Asked them to do teeth ears and glands. Doubt it. Was charged full price and told my dog needs a Xanax. Maybe the trauma of no food water potty break for 6 hours then a traumatic cut...just saying. Would never board my dog there. Ever. read more

My dog goes to daycare at Four Paws a couple of times per week. She seems to have fun but I have some concerns. On their website they advertise the dog's outdoor playtime as three segments per day: 10:00-11:00am, 12:00-1:00pm and 2:30-3:30pm but the dogs NEVER get to go out three times. It does say that playtimes are subject to change but this has been the way since the spring. The dogs are back in their crates at about 2:00pm and don't go back out. They have webcams so that we can check on the dogs and often times the staff members just stand there and don't pay attention to the dogs, except for their own! They raised the prices a few months ago to hire more staff but the number of employees is the same, the quality of attention is still poor and time playing outside hasn't changed, in fact, it's less. When I go to pick up my dog at 5:00pm, I am always having to wait for a staff member to come to the lobby. I hear them in the back room talking but it's like they don't anticipate pickups at 5pm! I often have to bring my young daughter in with me because I always expect it to take a good 15 minutes. I saw that one person mentioned the cute photos on their Facebook page, those are the STAFF members' dogs! They have the potential to do better but they seem like they aren't motivated. Some are nice but others seem like they have no energy and taking the dogs out to the play yard is a hassle. The cameras are helpful to us but it's disappointing to check in a few times per day and see three empty yards. I hope they realize that we're paying a lot of money to have our dogs stay there and they should play WITH THEM and not just check their cell phones the whole time. They need to get back to their posted schedule for playtime to keep the staff accountable. Or, it's just a way to get you in and hope that you don't notice that you're dog is in a crate 5 hours per day. read more

After trying 2 other places for our dog, we chose Four Paws in Natick. We have boarded our dog there 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months, and could not ask for a better place. I drive 25 minutes each way rather than use several places much closer to home. Melissa and everyone we have come in contact with has been capable and professional. They greet our dog Ollie by name and make a big fuss over him each time. It is very clean and their supervised playgroups can be watched on the web. They are connected with Natick Veterinary, so if there were a problem, medical attention is right there. I highly recommend them. Oh, they give a free dog wash before you pick up. read more

My dog has been going to daycare at Four Paws since she we brought her home and our experience has been great! The staff are professional, responsive and friendly. They know and interact with Rey by name and often have stories to share about her. I love seeing the pups' photos on Facebook and being able to watch them play via webcam. By the time we bring our girl home, we have one tired pup on our hands! Rey seems to love going to Four Paws, and often enthusiastically greets her human friends with a sloppy kiss. I'm grateful to have this facility available close to home. I feel confident she is well cared for while she is there. Thanks Four Paws! read more
