Avoid this car wash location ‼ my car wash was good, very basic. I've really enjoyed going to kaady car washes and haven't had any major complaints. I love their vacuums and have even opted in for their monthly subscription. I had a minor scratch from the Hillsboro location and I know because my car is brand new and washed it twice within a week period and immediately noticed the scratch. I didn't think much of it given how faint it was but here is where I'm annoyed. Their customer service manager (Zane N) claims their car washes NEVER scratch cars. I know for a fact, this isn't true from personal experience. I paid for my partner to wash his Volvo with their most premium wash. I noticed immediately that his car had scratches after the wash. When it first happened, the employee was extremely nice and said after reviewing footage, that this location was at fault and "the scratches were not there beforehand". We filed the report and really appreciated the way they handled it the day of. Fast forward 6 days later to today, their customer service manager came out to this location where we met to discuss the scratches. He denied everything and said there was no way this location caused it. When we brought up that the employees mentioned this location was at fault, he refused to accept it and denied everything. His tone was completely uncalled for and cut me off the couple times I spoke. Again, I've been really happy with their other Beaverton location, Tualatin location and Hillsboro location. Minor scuff? No biggie but this location is horrible and their customer service manager is not representative of the company. I find it unacceptable to 1) not apologize for the inconvenience of coming out, 2) not apologize for the misleading information of their employee, 3) not apologize for the lack of training their employee/site manager has to handle this situation, and lastly, the inability to remain respectful when being questioned. read more

Just used this car wash and it took pain off both sides of my rav4 (that is relatively new and never had a scratch). Im pissed to say the very least. I tried to call and no one answers. I do not recommend Kady. They also raised they're prices for the second time recently. read more

This is my kid's go-to car wash, for a few years now (she used to live in Beaverton and is now in a different part of Portland, but still comes here). So during my visit with her, I mentioned that it's been a few years since I've had my car wash (I'm embarrassed to admit that. But I've not driven that much during the pandemic, in my defense!). Anyhow, this is to say that my car was really REALLY dirty, and the interior was in dire need of vacuuming, too. We came here and I gotta say, it was fast and thorough, and my car looks spotless. (No scratches on my car from the wash. I checked). And I was totally blown away by the availability of limitless free vacuuming! Seriously, where have you ever heard of such a thing? It sure wasn't a thing in any car wash in Seattle when I lived there for 25 years, and you'd be hard-pressed to find ANYTHING free in Vancouver, BC where I live now. So we vacuumed my car interior for 15-20 minutes, in every crevice, and it now looks great. And all the vacuuming was free. Just....wow. I should add that when I was there going through the car wash, mine was the only car there. (I read other reviews noting damage from other cars going through the machine. My car, and my kid's car, had no such damage. So maybe we're lucky or have been here when there weren't many/any other cars, I don't know). My experience here was stellar. read more

This is a regular spot I like to go to when I need to get my car cleaned fast and efficiently. I like to do most of my washes here and then save the spendy one for the on occasion thorough go over. I'm not that messy though so usually this is pretty perfect. They have a person at the front who runs your card and after trying all the types I really did not notice a huge difference though your card may be different. I have a small car that's newer. The wash itself is pretty fast although it is a touch nerve wrecking on occasion because they will send cars pretty close behind if they get busy. I have had that happen a few times and then I am at the ready to drive forward fast worried the car behind might give me a tap. Their vacuums work pretty great and the area is very open. read more

Kaddy Carwash is my fave in the Portland area. Yes, I have a favorite car wash place! Especially now that I live in a condo and can no longer hand wash my car weekly, something I loved to do and never thought of it as a chore. The opposite, I enjoyed the physical work and reward of having a shiny car and clean windows! Now I have to have pay for the service, and while I often go to Washman (my second choice) for the convenience, when possible I drive out to SW Canyon road to this facility. Not only does my car come out super clean, I appreciate that I can use the vacuum for free. While I don't need to vacuum every wash, there are definitely times the floors require more than just emptying the mats, and I'm able to vacuum everything thoroughly using their equipment. Workers are friendly. Wash is quick and efficient. Vacuum is free. That all adds up to a great experience and the reason I go out of my way to come here. Even bought a book of washes to get a little discount! A clean car brings me joy! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Not worth the car damages and horrible customer service. I went to take my car in for a quick wash and ended up getting sandwiched in between two cars with my car getting damaged due to the wash glitching and slamming our cars together. After my customer service file, John Jenkins contacted me saying he did not see anything in the footage and tried gaslighting me that our cars did not hit. They said they would not provide any security footage of the wash and that they are not entitled to any of the damages. This place is a SCAM. read more

A reasonable enough deal if you buy the package of washes. I believe the cheaper wages come out to be around $8. The exterior wash works very well. The only reason I can't give five stars though is some of the vacuums just flat out need to be replaced. I'll still be back, but hope they have a plan in the works. read more

On the overall they do a nice wash and are happy to rewash buts that's after they do a liability analysis where they will tell you every flaw that's wrong with your car and you wonder if they're even going to wash your car or just try to give you an update on your condition of your car. In addition, they are extremely revenue driven and their new package which used to be a card you could use when you needed it now they just want to debit your account monthly so they can have an ongoing revenue source. I would say quality is average +. Their primary endpoint seems to be minimizing liability and driving revenue and if they get your car washed in the process. Well that's great. read more

This place will scratch up your paint!! Don't do it! I always wondered why my last car looked so scratched up but it was 20 years old so I figured....wear and tear. I finally got a new car with a perfect paint job and sure enough, the hood of my car has tons of swirls of fine scratches in it. Now I have to spend hundreds to have a detailer polish them out. Vacuums really aren't good. They have poor suction to the point where you have to hand feed it the pieces of leaves from carpet. I complained to the manager and all he said was according to him after checking the suction they are working properly. I'd rather drive down the road to the newer Kaady car wash because their vacuums are better and done in half the time. Not sure why the older Kaady washes are even still open. I can do a better job! This place isn't bad for what you pay. I've taken my car here twice and like that it's quick and efficient. You're literally in and out of there in about 3 minutes max. Sure, it could be a little better as I do notice very minor dirt specks after the wash but it's an automated wash, what more could you expect? It honestly gets the job done when I need something done right then and there and the best part is that I don't have to get out of my car lol. NEVER GO THERE! Terrible wash and terrible service! I went through the wash twice and my car was still dirty, which staff agreed was true. They refused to wash my car to get all the dirt off and one staff person said they can't wash cars like mine (new 4runner) and get them clean. That staff person was incredibly rude in her tone and rolled her eyes. Manager was nice but refused a refund request. I came home and washed my car by hand. I went through a big bug storm a few days ago the sun baked the bugs onto my car and windshield. The first pass didn't get all of the bugs off so Chris suggested I go through one more time and he paid for the second pass. He also gave me good information about removing bugs from the paint and not using a brush because bags have hard shells it might scrape the paint and to also reapply wax if I use solvents. Chris was very knowledgeable and polite I would highly recommend this location. read more

I have been a long time customer. I had 4 vehicles that I was bringing in every week. I always buy the premium wash. The most recent time I brought one of my vehicles in Sunday night 03/31/19 and had it washed there was still lots of mud on my tire. I specifically asked the attendant if I could maybe hose it off. The attendant said no. I asked if I could run it through again and the attendant proceeded to tell me about all the cameras there and how it wasn't possible. I tried to reason with him. Explaining how much business I bring. He didn't care and even was being condescending and laughing when saying no. I tried to call / contacting corporate the next few days to try and resolve before posting this. They just kept transferring me to a voicemail. I get it - they could care less. I will not be returning to this car wash. They really need to take a class on public relations and customer service. read more

The prices are now much higher than other reviews state. I came here expecting to pay $10 for deluxe and $6 for basic, but they are actually charging $24 for basic and $30 for deluxe!!! A bit crazy for a 60 second car wash with no other services offered by the employees. The vacuums now cost $5 for 10 minutes, unlike the image shown here that says it costs $2. My front license plate isn't clean, and the bottoms of the sides of my car are still dirty. The rest of the car looks good. The one saving grace was that they didn't really police the vacuum cleaners, so I was able to stay maybe 15 or 20 minutes vacuuming my car. By the way, the vacuums shut off every two minutes, which is a bit annoying. Bottom line: I'm mad because they charged $30 for this. If they had charged me $10, I would be totally fine. But the 300% price increase from past reviews does not come with any dramatic improvement in services. read more

There's few things that annoy me more than a dirty car. I have this need to take obsessively good care of my investment when it comes to cars- back when I lived in a certain state with year round sunshine and warm weather I would usually hand wash my car once a week. So I'm naturally hesitant to use automatic car washes, but I have been coming here pretty frequently for a couple years now and have always had good results. It's a good option during the winter months, or when I'm too busy to hand wash my car as often as I'd like in the summer. Kaady uses a soft touch wash that basically uses giant spinning strips of cloth, much gentler on your paint than those awful brushes that old school automatic car washes use (i.e. the kind that most gas stations have- avoid those kinds of car washes like the plague if you care about your car at all). They offer a $5 "Quality" wash and one that costs $10- I always do the $5 wash. Seems to work just fine. Gets my car really nice and clean for the most part, either way it's not gonna get all the little nooks and crannies like around the license plate and the inside lip of the fenders- but at least it gets my car presentable enough to not be embarrassed to ride around in. read more

Love it! This is the easiest place to get a quick cheap wash. It's $6 for a quick wash that always does the trick for me. They pre-spray a little and then your car goes through on a conveyer belt with soft cloth scrubbers. There's a decent blow dry at the end and my car is usually completely dry after I'm done vacuuming. Speaking of vacuums, they are a dollar and generally well kept. One time I went on a super busy day and hit a vacuum that needed to be emptied so there was almost no suction, But that was 1 time out of 20 times. Since they have staff onsite, they maintain everything pretty well. The quarter machine always works and they have a free mat cleaning machine. You can buy packs of 5 washes and you get 1 free. read more

I was happy with the location, the friendliness of the staff and the clean appearance, but the car wash technique is so strong it ripped the paint off my car's BMW badge. My car is 10 years old, and the badge was not in perfect shape (after 10 years of being attached to my hood you wouldn't either), but of all the car wash places I've been too, never have they sheered the paint off the hood badge. I have never been to a more awkward and stressful car wash. First, I feel bad for the employees and their way-too-professional-for-a-car-wash attire. Slacks and a white long sleeve button up? In the middle of summer? I'm so sorry. Their attire doesn't fit the job, and it made me feel uncomfortable with how professional it was. I wouldn't think any less of your company if your employees wore t-shirts. Second, I felt rushed the whole entire time. From the multiple people over-dramatically directing me in to trying to get out of the car wash before the other car had a chance to bump me because there was only a few yards between us. There's no line, so why rush? Also, because I felt so rushed and it was my first time at a Kaady car wash, I missed the memo that I got a free vacuum with the wash. So that's a bummer. Needless to say, I most likely won't come back to this chain. I don't care if it's super super quick. It's almost too quick. Though, one positive, my car is clean, minus a few spots like in the back, but that's probably just because it's a automatic car wash. So, they got the job done. I gotta hand it to them... The customer service is awesome here. So is their car wash. The vacuums could use a little more suction but one can easily deal with it. I called right before closing and explained I needed to get my car clean before my morning brunch tinder date (true story people) and they said come On over we will stay open ten mins extra for you to make sure your car is looking clean for a first date. Really appreciated it. Sadly the tinder date ended up not as great but at least leaving brunch I had a very clean car. read more

The one thing I don't like about this car wash place is that the vacuum time is WAY TOO quick and expensive.

I've been taking my car here for quite a while now and I think it's great. The people are always very nice and it does a great job as well as saving water and being better for the environment. I've only had one time that it didn't get all of a gigantic bird shit and the guy sent me right back through again, no problem. I'm also a member of the Kaddy Wash Club. There are a few car washes out there. Most of them in Portland get your cat fairly clean most of the time. But the deal is: what happens when you have a problem. I've been going to this car wash for 16 years. Three days ago upon returning home after a wash, I noted some new, semi circular scratches on the passenger side of my GMC pickup bed. I returned, and they filled out a form, told me I'd be called within 72 hours. About 24 hours later, Eric called and set me up to meet Zed Newkirk today, at the car wash. Today, Zed looked at the scratches, pulled out several bottles of McGuire polish, and buffed them out on the spot. It's perfect. Note THAT is what I call customer service. read more

This location provides a very good carwash as automated car washes go. I use them every time I'm in the area. Typically they have plenty of spots open for vacuuming and drying. I do wish they kept drying towels on hand like some of the other upscale carwashes do now. read more
