It was my first time coming here - we ordered food for take out! I ordered the chicken tikka, garlic naan, as chicken biryani. Everything was very flavorful and huge portions! Docked a star for a couple of reasons. 1. We ordered takeout and the lady said it would be 30 minutes. Can never get an order correct! I am so disappointed. I have ordered DoorDash twice. Neither order was correct. Last night the chickpeas and sauces were missing. This was AFTER I spoke to the owner to confirm what I was going to order. Totally unacceptable. This restaurant had new owners as of last December. The portions are also much smaller than the previous owners. So disappointing. Truly. They are nice people, but that doesn't make up for the mistakes. Food is very expensive. First the Good: cashier was nice, and order was ready before promised time (15min). The Veggie Pakoras were hot and crispy and sopped up the chutney perfectly. Mmm. delicious. The not so good: who goes to a kabob shop and orders a burger? Me that's who. Unfortunately it MAY LOOK like a traditional lettuce tomatoes onion cheeseburger... but what you get is a honking Chapli kabob patty party on a classic cheeseburger housing. Great Googly Moogly.. i wasn't expecting that... but the Raita flavored white sauce should have tipped me off. After hearing from friends how good the food was here and after reading reviews about how authentic it is, I wanted to give it a try... especially since the BEST Chinese place within 25 miles is in the same plaza (referring to Szechuan Taste). Co-workers and I ordered carry-out on our first visit and I was very impressed with how elaborate their website/online ordering was, allowing the comments and customization on each item. But on that order, they didn't seem to read any of the comments or side requests, as we got the same side, and it wasn't what we ordered. So, a week later, we did the same thing, ordering online and once again ordering saag as a side instead of channa. This time I went to pick up the order and noticed the channa and no saag. I asked about this and he went in the back and brought out a pint of saag, I was very happy! The naan both times we ordered was NOT FRESH and had the texture like it was reheated after possibly being made in large batches prior. Next time I order here I'll ask for fresh naan. The quality of the food is awesome! Taste is very authenticate and perfectly spiced! Chapli kabob was AMAZING with the perfect amount of heat and the right amount of whole coriander inside. Their Seekh kabob was also very nicely done, fresh and definitely not dried out from over-cooking. Tastes like they make the kabob down in the Tandoor, not on a gas flame on top of an open flame grill. The saag was outstanding, reminded me of what I got when in Pakistan! Samosa chaat was also amazing and nicely spiced! I ordered two lamb kabobs to go with a side of mixed vegetables and rice for each, sauce on the side, plus two naan. What I received could only be described as an insulting joke. I've wanted to try Kabob G for a while now, and today was the day!!!! I am so glad I went for lunch (and sad that I missed out for so long). I got the chicken biryani (single) and a garlic naan, garden salad and they gave me a side serving of chickpeas. Everything was so delicious and it took them 10 mins to prepare everything. I'll probably skip the side salad next time, it was fresh but just now "amazing". They warned me that the chicken biryani was very spicy... wow I'll be back for more! Would give this place 3 1/2 stars but that's not an option so it's getting the upgrade. More authentic than Americanized, Kebob G surprises me. The place is situated in a shopping center near Giant foods and is not sexy when you walk in. It's set up for a lunch buffet and has two sides for seating. One side is very casual booth seating (clean and kept) and the other side appeared to be for group events. We ordered the Chicken Kebob meal and Gyro sandwich which was about $20. The Chicken Kebob came with an appropriate portion of chicken, rice (the good long rice), salad, a vegetable soup, and naan. All was good! My spouse said the Chicken was a little spicy but that's what I liked about it. The rice was flavorful and the soup had a flavor profile I thought was authentic to the establishment but not over powering with curry. The naan was good, crunchy at parts, perfect for soup dipping, and at $1 a piece if purchased separately, I'd go back just to get naan. The Gyro! The Gyro was not your typical American Greek style. The flavors were reminiscent of what you want in a gyro with a Kebob G spin. My spouse liked my sandwich more than the Kebob because of the unique flavors. My criticism is the look of the Gyro meat was unappealing and almost off-put me but I'm glad I didn't rush to judgement. Very happy Woodbridge finally has a Kebob Restaurant. read more

Yet another restaurant that had to close its dining room due to covid. I have always loved Kabob Corner in Springfield and am always on the look out for a new kabob place closer to where I live. Today I had the opportunity to see this place next to the haircuttery and decided to take a chance. I called in my order and picked up 20min later. I watched the gentleman happily deliver an order to another patrons vehicle. When I walked in I noticed both my order along with other sitting in a cooler type thing in an effort to keep our food as warm as possible, which is a very nice touch indeed. I was thanked for my business and had a nice little conversation with the man working there. The food is fantastic I only got the boneless chicken so I'll have to update later :) it does have a little bit of a kick which is mostly spiced flavor but I have a weak spicy tolerance. I discovered this place through a Facebook group. It is an hour long drive so I wasnt too sure about giving it a shot but I am so glad they didnt disappoint. The first time I ordered for them was for a smaller Eid dinner where we only brought one platter as a first time trial. Everyone loved it. The second time was when my sister in law had had a death in her family and we wanted to bring her something. She is very picky with Pakistani food but she loved it and so did her Colombian nanny. In her words "we ate it for three days, it tasted even better the next day." Then I ordered quite a few things from them for my own Eid dinner last month. Again, everyone loved their food. I am not a huge desi food person so I didnt have much of an opinion but I was so glad to see that every guest loved the food (even my teenage nephew and his friend). Normally, I just use Facebook messenger to place orders and Abbas responds in minutes. We are just now starting to host dinners so we are pretty clueless in what to order and how much and so far everything Abbas has suggested has worked out for us. I hope they open another location closer to MD or at least start doing pop up restaurant in Tysons. read more
