I stopped in for lunch on a weekday after finding this place on a social media site. Upon entering, it's a very small, no-frills type of eatery with a few tables and comfy seats. There's a guy working there... he's the owner, chef, order-taker, etc. He's interesting and nice to chat with. He can prepare most any type of Pakistani dish, fresh-to-order. He uses a Tandoor to make naan and also makes his kabobs inside it, which is one of the two ways that's authentic (with the other being over a wood/coal fire, not over a gas grill, like most places). The food on my visit was amazing, tasty and fresh. The naan was incredible! He also serves "American" food like burgers, subs, etc, but if you like curries and such, stick to eating those here. Walking around with my dog, looking for a lunch spot with outside seating, I found this kabob place. The guy there is so nice, very polite. And as I am eating my food, I feel like I have to write a good review because it's delish!! And he was so kind, he even offered water for my dog and came out to check that everything is good. I eat chicken on the daily basis and it's not chicken whatsoever. I want to say it's thinly sliced sausage but I don't think it is either. My goodness what a mistake ordering from them. We ordered from a delivery service and if I saw the reviews from yelp, I would said "NO". The owner or employee of this place gave us 1 out of 2 drinks for our combos. We called to settle the matter professional and the person on the other line was immature, rude, and loud. No refund given for the inconvenience nor did they give us our drink. I don't want to complain and write a lot I know we are here to make money and feed our family with having a small business like opening a restaurant but I would suggest if you could clean the front lobby where people eating and waiting for picking up their orders. As soon as I picked up my order I didn't eat it because the floor was nasty and I saw more than 4 dead cockroaches on the floor, when I went out I put the food in trash can. Running a restaurant doesn't mean you only cook food but you also think of how you keep everything clean and well organized. Never had the chance to actually visit there in person but I had their food delivered to me and it was great. The flavor wasn't too spicy but just right and you can actually taste the ingredients in the dish comparing to other places where it's way too spicy and everything tastes the same. Hands down the best restaurant I have been to in MANASSAS. At first I was hesitant given its size and the understaff (but with Covid who am I to blame?) but I decided to listen to the many good reviews and boy am I glad I did. Prices were very cheap but quality was extremely high end. Nothing processed/fresh ingredients. I got the cheesesteak and let me tell you, I had the "best", or what I thought to be the best, cheesesteak in all of Philly (dalassandros), but the one I ate here was even better. Food is okay. A solid 2/5. The facility is a bit of an eye sore. The floors are sticky anything you touch is sticky. Saw baby cockroaches running around. I ordered 2 combo meals which come with two drinks, upon delivery I received my order incomplete. When I called to inform the merchant that my order was incomplete the merchant argued with me that I received everything because he made and packed my order before it was delivered. I read the order off the receipt that came with my food at which the merchant claimed I was lying even though unaware that he confirmed my receipt was correct and refused to honor the completion of my order which I already paid for. Instead of refunding me for the missing item the merchant continued to refuse my request for the refund and refused to send their driver back out with the rest of my order to fix the error in their part. When Salt & Pepper first opened it was amazing! I loved their Chicken Tikka. Overtime we noticed the quality of food was lacking. Spices missing. Chickpeas not available. Rice tastes bland and days old. The Chicken wasn't even a turmeric color the last time! Owner has forgotten the meaning of quality. Keep the menu simple but flavorful! I buyed meat from this uncle for many years.. and I had been waiting for him to open his restaurant. The uncle that cooks the food tahir uncle is also a well known amazing cook. So it's been a few weeks since this place opened..the husband has given me a break from cooking since this place opened we have got takeout a few times already. Their biryani is mouth-watering. Their chicken tikka is finger-licking good! Today... they made a specialty curry called qorma... it tasted just like it was homemade. The uncle told my husband that tomorrow he is making paye.. so again tomorrow night I'm off of kitchen duty because my husband wants to try their paye. So to summarize... give this place a try.. you won't regret it. I forgot to mention.. they have the most amazing t-bone steak I have ever ate. The guys have amazing personalities but really on top of that they really know how to do Pakistani food. I'm so thankful that I am less then a mile from them!! Also I forgot to mention their prices are not crazy like other places. For 10 bucks most places only give enough food for 1 person. For 10 bucks.... Came in today for the first today and had a great experience. I ordered the steak and cheese combo and cheese sticks as an extra and both tasted great. The meat in the steak and cheese was cooked fresh, well above what normal restaurants offer. These types of restaurants always do a wonderful job with authentic food. The owner (also the chef) was friendly with a welcoming attitude (opposed to what another review mentioned) and I also met some other friendly patrons as well.
