Yikes - not sure what others are raving about, but Zamzam is definitely NOT it. This restaurant offers an Afghan and Pakistani menu, including items such as samosas, kabobs, combos, and even vegetarian options. We were actually excited to check this place out as it offers two of our more preferred cuisines, being more flavorful and having a spicier kick. We actually came here for their Ramadan Buffet, which they stated that it would begin at 7:15 PM; it's first-come, first-serve for the rest, but larger family groups seemed to have been able to make advanced reservations due to their ties to the restaurant. The buffet offered a lettuce salad, a chickpea salad (possibly chickpeas from a can?), daal (extremely thin and watered down), beef seekh kabobs (cut into bite-sized pieces; was extremely dry), chicken tikka (no flavor whatsoever), chicken karahi (this tasted more like stewed chicken or a thinner chicken curry), kabuli rice (the rice, raisins, and the carrots had a chemical-like/off-putting flavors to them), pakora (extremely soggy and not at all crispy; must have been fried hours in advance), and samosas (probably one of the worst samosas I've had; they were large in size, but the filling was not good and had a weird texture). Unfortunately, the food was just inedible. There was absolutely no flavors/spices/seasonings - I felt like they did not even use salt to season any of their dishes. Out of all the offerings, the 'chicken karahi' was the only thing that was okay to consume - the rest were just awful. I couldn't finish anything on my plate and everything was tossed. I guess if you've been fasting all day, anything would taste good when it's time to break it? Note that everything seems to be pretty self-serve, including getting your own plasticware and drinks (they had water and some type of a milky rose water drink that I spat out). You also have to walk up to the cashier to pay for your check, as you don't get checked in at all by any of the staff. The buffet also did not start at 7:15, but started closer to 7:30 PM; you would think that patrons would respect standing in line and go in order, but there are always those individuals who jump the line - so rude and gross! The staff, however, were friendly and welcoming; I just wished the quality and the flavors of the food matched their vibe. I can't say that I was glad I was able to check this place out, because I thought the price and the drive over here were not at all worth it. The space isn't too large, but the maximum seems to be 50 people in the space. Restrooms are located by the entryway. Plenty of parking in the small strip plaza lot. +bland, unseasoned, inedible food +one of the worst buffets offered +completely self-serve +friendly service +parking in the shared lot

Everything was good on the buffet. The chicken was cooked well but did not have a lot of seasoning. That may be how it is made, I just don't know. Food on the buffet is a little oily. Nahn bread is really soft and fresh. Friendly staff.

I ordered the Garlic Chicken and was actually a little disappointed. The dish was like a spicy tomato soup with large chunks of chicken. The problem was that it was a little too spicy even though I love spicy. Fortunately it came with huuuge pieces of naan bread and enough rice for two people to eat. Everything came out super hot, including the afghan green tea! I loved the freshness of it all and I would be glad to come back and try another dish. My friend really loved his dish and told me we must come back again.

This place was such a lovely surprise that I found while searching online. It had great reviews so I figured I'd give it a try for take out. The food that people dining in looked and smelled amazing. I went with the Zam Zam special and the Palak Paneer. The chickpeas that they give you on the side are divine!! The naan is also incredibly fresh and tasty. The white and green sauces are also yummy! Overall the flavor and spice was amazing! And I learned they do catering. I will be back again and recommend to others!!

I was really excited to try this place after seeing so many great reviews on Yelp. I was even more excited that there was a Groupon deal that came into my email when I was planning a visit. I bought the Groupon and we headed to the restaurant. Once we let them know that we had a Groupon, that's when our experience went downhill. The merchant said that there was a "misprint" and the deal wasn't supposed to still be offered so he was only willing to accept face value of the Groupon ($15 only instead of the $30 deal). I know this was probably a communication issue between the merchant and Groupon - which I did bring this to their attention as well. But the food ended up not being as great as we expected either.

    Chicken Boneless Kabob Chicken Tikka

I ordered the boneless chicken kabob platter and chicken tikka masala platter. Good portion. Flavorful and aromatic chicken. Meat was tender and juicy. The rice was fragrant. The chickpea was delicious. Would order again.

Been eating here for quite a while now and I always enjoy having a meal here! Ever since they re-opened after Covid, they no longer have buffet, but they have their full menu and can make almost anything you ask for. Their aloo saag is awesome! Their naan is still the BEST I've had anywhere around here and their Chapli Kabob is outstanding, nice & spicy! Definitely get a samosa too, as I really enjoy their veggie samosas. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and genuinely wants to be sure is guests enjoy their meal. I'll continue to come back!

The puri arrived hot and perfectly puffed--golden, light, and crunchy on the outside, yet soft enough to soak up every bit of flavor. Then came the Punjabi murg chole, and that's where the magic really happened. The chicken was tender and deeply seasoned, not overpowering, but rich with warmth and spice. Paired with the chickpeas, it created a hearty, comforting balance--earthy, savory, and incredibly satisfying. We all know halwa puri with chole is a classic. It's nostalgic, it's comforting, it's expected. But adding Punjabi-style chicken into the mix? That took the entire experience to another level. The chicken didn't compete with the chole--it elevated it. Every bite with puri felt intentional, layered, and indulgent. This wasn't just breakfast or brunch--it was a vibe. A bold twist on tradition that felt rooted yet exciting. If halwa puri is comfort food, then halwa puri with Punjabi murg chole is comfort food that decided to show up dressed sharp and confident. A combination I didn't know I needed--but now won't forget.

The dining was empty and it was rather cold inside too, then again it was snowing outside, so maybe that's the reason for them not being busy and it being cold. The lady who helped us was friendly and was very helpful with the menu, which was very nice. Their menu is interesting... it's one of these Middle Eastern places with so many items on the menu that they feel the need to try to appeal to so many that they have Italian along with Pakistani and Indian/Afghan - this is NOT ideal, please don't do this! You're Pakistani, Indian, Afghan, etc - stick to that food, don't try to sell everything for the extra business, it doesn't appeal to those of us who seek the authentic experience and food, but nonetheless, I gave them a try and I'm glad I did because all the food we ordered (everything in Pakistani style, since I'm Pakistani and I appreciate when this food is done right) was pretty darn good! We start with veggie pakora and veggie samosa, the pakora was spot-on perfect! The chickpea dough was seasoned perfectly and these tasted great! The samosa's dough was incorrect, like pie dough, but the filling was great! The entrées were pretty good - We tried beef chapli kabob - a little thin, but packed with flavor. Their veggie biryani was folded properly into the curry and had the beautiful colors it's supposed to have. Flavors were decent as well. Chicken Karahi, one of my favs was actually spot-on! The sweetness of the tomato in it was perfect alongside the tastiness of the curry - great dish! Channa (or choli, not sure what they call it there) was decent, but lacked the depth of "stewed down" flavor that I like from chickpea curry that's done with dried beans, this tasted/resembled canned chickpeas. Aloo Pollak was decent, but lacked that deep flavor that I love about saag or even a well-seasoned potato (aloo). As for their naan, it was GREAT! Nice texture, denseness, and doneness. I always ask for my naan to be non-cut and no grease, butter, ghee - I HATE this culture of putting that nasty, greasy stuff on naan, roti, or chipati - must be an American thing, because I don't recall ever having this as a kid in Pakistan. Bottom line - Very nice experience. They have tons on the menu and though I might not have though everything was absolutely perfect, 100% of the things I ordered were totally acceptable, flavorful, and when served with other dishes would make for a very nice meal. I'm not sure while this place has such poor reviews, possibly because they're trying too hard by serving Italian food when they're not Italian and they have no business doing this. Either way - stop in for decent Pakistani food, I definitely appreciated my visit.
