From the moment…read morewe arrived, we were impressed by the outstanding level of care, kindness, and professionalism shown to us. We arrived ahead of schedule, as we always do, and they were able to take my husband in right away. When he came out of his appointment, he was genuinely happy and relieved. He told me, "The representative from the pacemaker company was so friendly and personable and immediately put me at ease. The MRI technician was very kind and even asked if I would like to listen to music during the MRI. The gentleman who escorted me to the imaging department could tell I was nervous and did everything he could to reassure me. Three wonderful men treated me like I truly mattered." We desperately needed a positive experience with a local hospital, and Kadlec provided exactly that. Compassionate care makes such a difference--especially when a patient is already anxious--and this team went above and beyond. We highly recommend Kadlec Medical Center. I called Kadlec to see if they could possibly provide me with a can of pregestimil do to my…read moredaughter having severe fat malabsorption. They told me they couldn't just "give them away" after I proceeded to tell them it was an emergency as she is only 5months old, I even asked for any alternatives, as my daughter had not ate all day as I am waiting to get them mailed from Seattle Children's, and can not find them anywhere locally to even purchase myself. They provided with resources, I tried them all no one had it not even her pcp. I then called Kadlec back and after several minutes of being on hold they told me they had a can of formula I could have for my daughter and it would be down in the front, until I got mine in a few days, I get to Kadlec it wasn't there. I called pediatric again and they told me they "needed to ask a few questions" then again, put me on hold and hung up on me, I again went in both er, and main entrance and said they didnt receive one yet. I asked if they could give pediatric a call, they called and proceeded to say they didnt have one they could provide me with but they'll look for a local resource. They provided me with community health's number on a sticky note and said they "called them beforehand" and they have a can waiting for me. I called the number, got placed on a brief hold and told me Kadlec never reached out to them. The kadlec staff were rude, lied multiple times, and after several hours had to go home without food for my 5 month old daughter and had to give her a formula that could possibly make her really sick.

Dr Ortolano two years prior was short staffed which resulted in long wait times for pregnant mothers. Fast forward two years, he is staffed really well with individuals that really love their job. It gives you that gives you a peace of mind. He currently delivers for Trios HealthCare in Kennewick. I would recommend this OB for the Tri-Cities since he displays professionalism that should be expected working with future generations of offsprings!

Dr. Ortolano is absolutely fantastic. He is very compassionate and takes the time to explain the…read morepros and cons of different procedures. He has come in on the weekends when I needed him to and works very long hours to make sure his patients are taken care of. Be warned, you will wait quite a while to see him. However, its not because he's goofing off. He is frequently running back and forth from the hospital to deliver babies and then back to his office to see patients. I am very impressed with his professionalism and empathy, which I did not find when I went to Associated Physicians for Women (now Kadlec Clinic). The only reason I don't mark 5 stars is because of his receptionist. When checking in, she asked for a payment on my balance. That would have been fine, except that she started explaining what I had done and what the individual charges were. I am very aware of what I have had done, but I didn't need the entire lobby to hear the procedures that I had done, thanks.
