Now it's ran by other people and I had a bad massage from a younger Asian girl who was reckless and kept hurting me with her incorrectly done stretches and walking on my spine and lower back which are dangerous areas. I kept saying "ouch" but she only would laugh whenever I said "oww" then when I was paying she had a spoiled brat fit with many upset facial expressions cause I only tipped $25 on the $120 bill plus they charge $5 extra for using any card. They prefer cash which only shows further how out of touch they are by putting a target on themselves to get robbed for encouraging cash in their business. They have their tips set to choose on their payment display starting at 30% then 35% then 40% and the young unprofessional girl kept telling me in very broken English that I'm supposed to choose from those tips, not choose to customize my own tip and she had the audacity to keep reversing the screen back from my custom tip to the 30% that she insisted! The middle aged Asian woman who was there came over to see what all the fuss was about from the younger girl and the middle age woman was more reasonable and allowed me to leave my own custom tip. The younger girl should be glad that I paid the $25 tip for her bad work

Then Neves talked with me for a few minutes to assess my needs. He allowed me to choose my essential oils for my Aromatherapy massage. Neves was kind and personable. He had a wealth of information and knowledge about homeopathic remedies. After the massage, he allowed me to rest at my leisure in the massage room. When I was ready, I was able to use the facilities to shower. Shampoo and conditioner as well as deodorant and a hair dryer were available for use. I have had my hair cut there and for pedicures. Today, I went for a fast pedicure and I had Sofia. As she was doing my service, I mentioned to her that my right toe hurt. She told me I had an ingrown toe nail and she had not touch it. Which is strange as she cut the toe nail and took care of the cuticle. I said, "It was not hurting when I arrived." When I was leaving, she my name is Sofia and NEVER book with me. I felt she was rude. As I was checking out, I was asked how my service was and I told them. The manager immediately said let me make this right for you. I told her I would pay for the service but she insisted. My niece and I both got pedicures. She got gel polish and I got traditional nail polish. Both of our nail technicians were friendly without being overly chatty. They both did an excellent job. My only complaint is the overpowering chemical odor throughout the spa. At a certain point during my pedicure I started wondering about the health effects of the chemicals. And then I started to worry about the employees who are exposed to this on a daily basis. This concern did negatively impact my overall enjoyment. My advice to the owners would be to invest in a better ventilation system. Will I return? Probably, but not as often as I would like.
