The reviews on Google were very good, so I came and was happy with the results. Julie is a sweet lady. She has one of the lightest touches of any threader I've been to. So pain level was low. I have a lot of hair, so I usually talk to the threader for a couple minutes about the shape I'm going for. Otherwise, it could go in many different directions. She understood immediately what I wanted. She actually taught me a little more about what shapes would look best on my face. She also waxed my lip and I barely felt anything. The next time I visit this city, I'm definitely going to call ahead and try to book a few more services. It's not easy for people in smallish cities like this to find good eyebrow artists. If you live here, you're lucky to have this place and you should give Julie a try.

The salon is on the main floor of this old house and I love that, like many businesses in Ocala. It is always clean and neat when I visit. Yelina always does a great job with shampooing, conditioning, and cutting my hair. Yelina also always finds a way to keep the volume in my hair and cut it so it looks like a new haircut for at least a month afterwards. Yelina is also quick, maybe because I'm simple with my requests. There are several other hair stylists here and they also have a tattoo studio. They have blowout memberships and products for sale. The hours are better than most salons in the area and they have their own parking lot. I sat down with a tech who told me she could do the checkered design (pictured) and was comfortable. She helped me pick the two colors and got started. During the filing process she made my cuticles bleed on three fingers. She did apologize, but the appointment only got more uncomfortable from there. When she pulled out the plastic tips to put on my nails for the set, she made a comment that my nails are too small and that she would have to trim down the tips. She then took small scissors and cut both sides of the plastic tip off and glued them onto my nails. There was no curve to them, they were very rectangular. She attempted the design twice before insisting it did not look good and told me that I needed to choose a new color. I told her I liked the design, she told me she felt it was not pronounced enough and insisted we use black. I told her that I didn't like black, it was just too dark for me but after her persistence I agreed to try it. She created the look with the black in place and then outlined in white. I thought it looked nice and was not upset at all about it afterward. When washing my hands at home after the visit I realized that all of the nails were very jumpy and had bubbles in them. My pinkie on my left hand was completely warped and basically flat because of the way she trimmed the tip. I had no time to go back and after that experience I truly didn't want to. I ended up going to another salon, which looked at my nails and before I could even tell them what happened, they told me that the nails I had needed total reforming and fixing before I could get a fill. When I told them what was done, they were in total shock. This could have been a fluke, maybe she was new or overwhelmed but I will not be returning.

The nails speak for themselves. 11/10!

This was their #2 pedicure. She did one clear, 2 color and then 2 clear!

I'm obsessed with Betty Brow Co!!! I did some light research on the procedures (microblading and lash extensions) but, I did not really know what to expect prior to coming in. Brandy made the whole experience pleasant. She was quick (appointment too less time than advertised), friendly (keep me laughing and smiling), and clearly knowledgeable with everything. With the microblading specifically, I had ZERO hair growth on the tails but she worked her magic and BAM I have eyebrows! She worked with me closely to ensure the brows were the perfect size and shape, watching her do the mapping process was awesome. She took her time and was clearly skilled. I have been wearing lashes and browns happily and confidently since. It's only been a day but I have gotten so many compliments on my brows and how my lashes look so natural. I've been to Betty Brow 3 times now. Twice for facials with Kristin and once to get my permanent eyeliner done with Brandy. These ladies know they're stuff. Brandy has the most steady hand and my results are better than I hoped. Kristin's work has amazed me both times. I see an actual difference immediately and after speaking with her, I'm thinking I may ditch the Botox and let her work her magic safely, naturally and effectively. They research and try out product they use and sell so they know it's all safe with good ingredients and very reasonably priced. You cannot beat their prices honestly. I haven't had any work from JoJo but I have spoken with her on the phone and she was so helpful and friendly and supportive of the women she works with. It's just a great place, with good vibes.
