This charge was communicated only after the fact and was never approved. Following the repossession, we repeatedly requested an invoice so we could promptly resolve the matter and retrieve our vehicle. Despite multiple requests, you failed to provide an invoice in a timely manner while continuing to add fees. This delay prevented us from mitigating costs and recovering our property. You later increased the demand to $1,300 plus an additional $500 for delivery back to our lot. Acting in good faith and solely to recover the vehicle, we agreed to the $500 delivery fee. Despite this, we were informed that your company filed a lien on the vehicle. We dispute all unauthorized charges and dispute the validity of any lien filed. The additional fees resulted from unilateral actions and delays caused by your company, not by any agreement on our part. We request immediate written documentation supporting the lien, a detailed itemized invoice, confirmation that no further fees will be added, and cooperation to release the vehicle upon payment of agreed and reasonable charges only. If this matter is not resolved promptly, we will pursue all available remedies, including complaints with state licensing authorities and legal action if necessary.

I contacted them by phone to see about an eta and the guy told me we were next on the list and when the driver is close he will contact me. The driver did contact me and said he was about 12 mins out. He was pretty accurate about his arrival time. I met him outside, gave him the car keys, and verified where to drop the car off. He was very friendly and said he will take care of it. I appreciate the prompt and friendly service. Since we used our roadside assistance through insurance, I didn't get a price.

I posted this on a different forum, and now m cross-posting it here: Story time: There was a place on South Side of Indianapolis: 3-D Carburetor. I'm thinking they're the Dire or Dwire family, & 3 of 'em were the mechanics. This is more than 20 years ago. Apologies if I'm bungling their surname. They kept me employed by keeping my POSs running. A few times they put parts I'd pulled from junkyard. They'd warranty the workmanship, but not a part I got from god knows where. They'd also order new parts for people, but that was rarely a problem I had. Never had an issue. Never left feeling screwed over. More than once they worked up to or past their closing time to get my roommate or me underway to the far north side where we worked. Once, they even let me bring them cash the next morning instead of making me find an ATM and be late. Paying dealership prices and dealing with dealership level responsibility hot potato and I would have been unemployed followed shortly by homeless. I can't thank them enough. Excellent mechanics, and all around very decent people. 5/5 would recommend all day. I can't say enough nice things about them. Keep being awesome! Cheers!
