First time I went to Kaia Fit was August 2011 and I fell in love. The outdoor boot camp style of working out was perfect for me. I started with a living social deal that was $49 for 5 weeks (4 days a week). The coaches motivated me to work hard and stay healthy. It really trimmed my body up and I felt amazing. Unfortunately the cost after the 5 weeks was way out of my budget so I stopped after it was over. I just re-started again with another living social deal and this time I have 13 weeks of Kaia Fit to look forward to. The owner Patti is a gem and makes you feel right at home. I hope that these next 13 weeks will teach me more than I know now about being healthy and working out and it will continue to help my body stay as fit and sexy as ever! Chose the 5am class because it is the only one that will fit in my schedule. I did the 7pm class before but its not offered this time. Other options are 6am, 7am and 6pm. I like that there are many choices even though none are JUST RIGHT for me but you have to do what you have to do. read more

Kaia Fit is amazing! I have been looking for something OUTSIDE of a gym and machines that would fit my busy schedule and I found it!!! I just started 2 weeks ago and already feel a huge difference in my energy levels, strength, endurance and my clothes. If you enjoy being challenged Kaia is for you! I started with Kaia in July of 2011 using a LivingSocial voucher at $49 for one session (5 or 6 weeks). I figured the price was low enough that if I hated it after the first class, no big loss. I was very apprehensive since I was pretty out of shape and was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up. I also didn't wanna cause a scene by passing out in the middle of the class or something :) At this point, I've been doing Kaia FIT workouts for over a year now, and I love it! The workouts are never the same, so you don't get bored and it never gets "too easy." I lost a lot of weight and got so much stronger - doing "real" pushups and I can even run a few miles now, even though I never ran the whole mile without stopping before I started Kaia. More importantly, I learned how to eat right! Patti (the owner and coach, who is not the original owner from July 2011 LivingSocial voucher but took over for the October 2011 session, as I recall) gets to know your abilities and limitations and pushes you gently to improve. Other women in class also offer great support and encouragement, and I can honestly say that I look forward to my workouts, which is not something I could ever say before. If you haven't been getting results working out on your own or don't have the discipline to consistently workout and push yourself (I sure don't), try it out! You'll love it! read more

Started Kaia FIT with a friend, "I'll try it if you try it"... It is by far the best work-out I've ever done. Nothing in 30 years of fitness training, I mean nothing, has gotten me leaner and fitter than Kaia. If you're committed to the work-outs and eating plan you WILL get results. Signed up for 5-week Boot Camp after seeing a deal on Living Social -the BEST deal ever!! Sessions were offered at 5am, 6am, 6pm, and 7pm (AM meetings were at Ford Park, PM were at Brookside Park). We met Mon/Wed/Thurs and also had the option of attending Saturday workouts. I enrolled in 6am session because that was the only way I'd be able to attend all the sessions and because we were advised not to switch between AM/PM groups as there was a specific trainer-to-girl ratio. However, week after week attendance became a little sketchy and many of the girls would bounce between sessions if they could not attend the one they signed up for. I attended the evening sessions a couple time and can honestly say that I like Brookside Park way better than Ford Park simply because at Brookside we worked out in a grass field rather than tennis courts and concrete floors at Ford. At the beginning of the 5-weeks, the trainers will send you a Kaia Manual filled with instructions, nutrition guide, food journal logs, etc. You are told to purchase a yoga mat, jump rope, resistance bands. I used the yoga mat daily, the resistance bands most days, and the jump rope only twice... something to consider if you're on a tight budget and are trying to cut costs. I've done other boot camps in the past and this one seemed to focus a lot more on HIIT and plyometrics (as opposed to balancing cardio and resistance training). Overall, Kaia Redlands is a great way to jump start your fitness goals and the trainers are amazing. I'd definitely do another boot camp with them, even without that Living Social deal :) read more

Kaia is the ONLY reason I exercise at all!! I quickly realized that I never had the discipline to exercise regularly on my own for long, but after giving Kaia bootcamp a chance I'm a year into it& wouldnt you know, its a year later & I havent taken a "break" yet! Patti is a one of a kind instructor& she makes it a pleasure to keep coming back, along with the other ladies & actual friends that I've made since starting in July 2011. There is still not a day that I am not challenged, but now I have a "Fit" body to show for it! I know that as long as Kaia is around, I'll be there, I finally found something that I LOVE in exercising, & that I don't even mind sweating my hair out for, because I know that either way my body is looking good!! read more

Just over one and half years later and I am still a Kaia Fit girl and love it!! The first year I lost 30 pounds and many inches. I've maintained my weight the last six months. I have become stronger and more confident thanks to our trainer Patti. She is motivating and encouraging. I have made many friends through Kaia Fit and we all keep each other accountable with our eating and attendance. Looking forward to what 2013 brings to Kaia Fit. read more

The five-week session was so fun and motivating! Even though it was summer and miserably hot I felt incredible after every workout. The instructors (as well as the other ladies in my group) were so supportive, encouraging and inspiring. It was the greatest workout experience of my life and I can't wait to go back. So if you love huge group bootcamps this may be for you. In huge, I mean 50-60 females. I personally felt that it took away from the workout. It didn't feel intense because you were always waiting for stragglers. The first week I did this was pretty food became there were at most 10 girls. Th workouts itself would be a little more challenging. Also for the 60 girls there's 2 instructors which is a pretty big ratio. I wanted my butt to be whipped after each work out but instead I felt I could so a ton more running read more

Kaia is amazing! I joined a few months ago; love Patti our coach, the girls I workout with and most important the workouts! I had worked out a year prior at L.A. Fitness and was getting bored. I joined the Redlands KAIA group over a year ago on a special deal...and couldn't quit! I cannot say enough good things about this fitness group and its exceptional trainer/motivator/instructor, Patti. I haul my sorry self out of bed at 430am to make it to her class, and am almost always sorry when I miss. Nothing has EVER made me get up at 430 without threat to life or limb, especially not to exercise! My attendance was pretty lame over the summer months with travelling, kids up late, etc... I found that I did not have my usual energy, or feel as well as I do when I am exercising with my 5am group. It is so much more motivating to know I will be able to socialize a bit while exercising, and that Patti actually cares if you show up or not . The workouts are never the same, and there is a really great mix of muscle training with cardio. Patti is a wonderful coach, and offers personalized exercises if you have an injury or joint/muscle pain, as well as giving a lot of feedback with nutrition/diet. You won't find a better place to acheive your fitness goals-- as difficult as healthy eating and exercise can be, you will find support and encouragement, and success, at KAIA. read more
