If you wanna get up to the Grand Canyon, you'll probably be passing through this massive preserved land, and while I haven't spent any time other than driving through, it's quite beautiful. I'll post some pix so you can see for yourself. Good day.

We came here for the first time mid June with a group of friends and really loved the campsite…read more They have large and clean porta potties available with fully stocked toilet paper. Unfortunately, we couldn't have a fire due to fire restrictions. However, we were able to bring our own gas-powered fire pit. I'm glad my husband checked the website a few days prior to our reservation, otherwise we wouldn't have known. It would be nice to get informed by email if you have a reservation about fire restrictions, because if we didn't bring our blackstone to make our food, I would have been very upset. Before arriving, I did some research on the black bear shack that our friends told us about, but sadly found out they are not at this campground anymore. The road coming in is extremely bumpy and rough. When leaving the campground, I recommend going left instead of right. Our cars needed a very good car wash after! The campground is very beautiful. The weather was perfect; in the 50s at night and high 70s in the afternoon. I would definitely camp here again.

Needs a solar motion light for restroom. One was okay but others were bad. We stayed 4 days with no water for hand washing if had known would have prepared differently.

B is just like A but no stairs and no loft - 1 bed only. Tons of windows, natural light. A faced the RV park, B faced the woods. Lots of parking. No fire pits allowed but they have a common fire put in the park you can use. Quiet time is at 10pm. Rooms were clean! Small fridge, coffee maker & microwave. No freezer. Would absolutely come back! Staff is incredible.

As we entered there was a LOT of wear and tear visible, completely filthy air filter. Shower was degrading, toilet paper holder had been ripped off the wall and half way patched. One of the bunk beds had a stain/spill down the side and you could see the accumulation of dirt/debris. The ac read 86 and was blinking red. The whole place felt dirty and uncomfortable and gave us the impression we wouldn't be sleeping without a few crawling friends. Within 5 minutes of checking in we went to the front desk and they were adamant about their no refund policy and stated "what did you expect from a train car" well for $198 for one night I guess we expected more than they were willing to provide. I could not recommend this less. Their minimal pictures do NOT show you what you are signing up for.
