They will allow minor children to be seen regarding sexual matters without a parent's consent or knowledge, but will not see my daughter for her sports physical without me there?!? I even received a text message 2 days prior saying my daughter has to show up alone; however, my husband, her step-father, took her just to complete the paperwork required to complete her sports physical. Not once was I told during the 2 times I spoke to Cindy that a biological parent or legal guardian would have to be the one to bring my daughter in. The only thing she ever did say was we needed to come in 30 mins early to complete paperwork. Cindy told my husband that him being my daughter's step-dad didn't count as if he didn't matter. I spoke with the supervisor, Melissa, who has supposedly been there for 6 months and is completely unaware of the text messages being sent to patients. How do you not know that text messages are sent to patients and what it says and you're the "Supervisor?" Melissa said it is the law this and that, but only provided documentation their "policies" and nothing with the law. I told Melissa that she should make things right especially even after seeing the text sent to me. However, she said she cannot make the providers do something they don't feel comfortable with. Comfortable??? Melissa said that since my husband was honest and told them he was my daughter's stepdad that they cannot provide the service without me. So, if my husband lied, they wouldn't have questioned it. This place is pathetic! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! Adella, train your staff properly. I would give negative stars if I could. This is a review of their online video service…read more Beware that there are no psychiatrists on staff - they are all NPs (nurse practitioners). For therapy, watch out since many of them are trainees training on your dime, but charging full price. Check their credentials: AMFT (Associate Marriage and Family Therapist), ASW (Associate Clinical Social Worker), APCC (Associate Professional Clinical Counselor). I needed a leave of absence (LOA) form to be provided to my work. They wanted to charge me $75 for each paperwork filled, more $ if it is "complicated." I ended up requesting my medical notes (which they are obligated to give you for free), and then forwarding to my primary care physician to have them fill out my forms for state disability (EDD) and LOA that my employer requires. The first time, even though they didn't provide me with a note, they charged me for it. I called 3 times and finally after a month, got it removed from my account billing. I am seeing their care givers for a mental health problem - I can't be expected to micromanage these things. They usually take about a week to send my medical notes. It's either the NP who doesn't have time to write down their notes until a few days later or the office staff who bumbles uploading the paperwork onto your documents folder (you have to login each time to get this - they will not email to you). I was charged $150 for being late to an appointment. I was 20 minutes late and didn't get to see anyone. They said it was policy that if I'm more than 15 min late, they leave the session and you get charged. If I'm paying for the full session, shouldn't I get whatever time is left? Beware that you can only communicate with your therapist/nurse practitioner through their online messaging system. You have to log into the system EACH TIME you want to check if they responded to your message. My disability is such that doing this is very hard. Stay away from this place if you can! If you don't have a mental health issue, then maybe you have the head space to manage your account, keep track of paperwork, and followup for prescriptions they said they sent to the pharmacy.
