I am basing this review on my boyfriends experience as his back seems to not be aligned at times therefore discomfort happens pretty frequently. This is the place to go! Dr. Ron is very knowledgeable and confident in what he does and says. I know this is obviously his occupation so you would think he should be those standards, but sometimes, there are professionals that are pretty questionable at what they do. Dr. Ron and his staff give a very welcoming and kind vibe. My boyfriend has been impressed with his work at it has definitely improved the feeling of discomfort on his back. They have a plan where you have 10 visits per year which is pretty nice. Not to bash a prior company my boyfriend went to prior, but there is a Daly City Chiropractor location near iHOP that my he went to and for awhile the treatments began to be pretty ineffective. Just started back treatments. After two sessions, I can feel my back positioning itself. I feel like I'm walking taller. I actually walked about an hour holding my baby in my arms. I have not been able to do that before, not for that long. Staff is great. Very accommodating. DC is very welcoming. I don't believe that a 3-5 minute adjustment three times a week can build momentum. Additionally, my lower back feels much worse after adjusting. My chronicle upper back issue doesn't get fixed. I heard other patients yelling during the intense 3-5 min session. The practitioner keeps forcing you to go back without really listening to your problem at all. read more

I am yelping for my chiropractor! Let me first tell you how I found this guy and why I still go back to see him after five years and a move to the city. One night after work i noticed a twinge in my side. A little while later, I decided it was probably a muscle needing a rub. A little while later, I couldn't carry my own milk to the car. I was new to the area and remembered seeing his office open late. I took a chance and drove there. He was locking the door, but saw me and asked if I needed help. It was about 7pm! He did not bat an eye at the clock he just helped me. I did new patient paperwork, had the assessment, got an adjustment and was able to function for work the next day! I went for a few follow up adjustments but it didn't drag on and I did truly recover. Now, every once and a while my back gets a bit tight and I go in for an adjustment. I am always greeted with a warm hello and a genuine interest in how I am doing. Doc's care and skill are to be trusted and praised. He loves what he is doing and the patients he treats. His fees are sooo reasonable compared to what you will pay elsewhere. Also worth noting, scheduling is easy and when I have needed to reschedule it was always done happily for me. What more can I say about the staff at makati ! First of all they check es my benefits if it covered chiropractic, only paid my co pay , the reason for my visit. I'm a contractor and pulled something in my shoulder while pulling wire , drive to Pacifica and dr. First, I've had bad luck with chiro care in SF over the past 9 years (after great care back in St. Louis where I grew up). The treatment is just what he says it would be.I had severe pain in back, could not stand and I had to travel overseers within couple weeks. I used be skeptical of chiropractic in general. I have have had back problems since I was in my 20s. And I resisted going to a chiropractor. Since I have been receiving care with Doctor Mitchell, not only I have no more pain l don't even have a mild ache. My body is so much flexible than before. My husband and myself had treatment after we were involved in a rear end collision. My family knew Dr. Mitchell a long time so we knew we were in good hands. Times changed now they base their treatment on how badly damaged your vehicle otherwise they drop you because they think they will not get paid. This was the lawyer they referred and Dr. Mitchell. Our account was sent to collection without any attempt whatsoever of informing us that the other party's ins did not pay for the claim. Melina claimed I was avoiding their calls but why when I know I don't owe them anything. The office knew why we came and what the case was all about. Melina was extremely rude, her response to my inquiry was "this is between you and the collection agency". Well then fine!!Now I have to file a complaint since I was not even provided options on how to resolve the issue. read more

I was around the Fairmount Plaza in Pacifica to have lunch. All of a sudden I was hit with a big anxiety attack. I felt the tingling all over my body. I came in for a walk in apt. because my back was in so much pain. I couldn't sleep, and it would hurt so bad when I would sneeze. I spoke with the doctor and he asked me some questions and was very informative as to why my back was feeling the way it was. I had told him I had problems with my hips and he had discovered my left leg was 2inches longer than the right, after a quick adjustment he aligned my hips and my legs were the same length!! I had an appointment with Dr. Mitchell for my back pain at 9:30AM, I told the doctor that I had to leave at 10AM when I made the appointment. When I arrived at 9:30, he was not there. The front desk girl called him and told me that he was coming. I asked her when he would arrive, she said rudely,"I can not tell you." I said,"But I have to leave at 10AM." she said, " OK, the treatment is only 15 to 20 minutes". At 9:45AM, I was about to leave, and the doctor finally showed up. I asked how long it would take, he said about 5 minutes. lol, should I be happy that I can leave before 10AM or should I be upset that I drove for 10 minutes, waited for 15 minutes, paid several dozen dollars and just for a 5 minutes treatment? Yeah, after he done, it only takes 3 minutes. He left as soon as he was done without telling me anything about how to do recover exercise or how to correct gesture to relief pain, nothing! Do they really think their patients believe that 3 minutes treatment will help them? They just made me think that they did not care patients' health but their money. Perfunctory doctor, rude front desk girl, unprofessional service! I really doubt that how they could have ever got the 5 star reviews. read more
